Starmer's colleagues are 'telling him that his time is up', suggests top Tory
Video Overview & Insights
Sir Mel Stride has told Sky News Peter Kyle's comments this morning suggest the prime minister's colleagues are telling him to go.
I miss the brilliant PM Rishi Sunak......
He told Trevor Phillips: "It sounds like it means what a lot of Keir Starmer's colleagues are doing, which is to basically tell him that his time is up."
The shadow chancellor also said that Andy Burnham "taking over would be bad and in the wrong direction" and that Reform UK are "increasingly toxic amongst an increasingly large proportion of the population".
I think the country is destinednto self destruction and it's now inevitable.......

Starmer never did and never will represrnt me.
@Verminator-f1fBetter than Left
@myhash4allTories are already dead and the woman in charge is an idiot ruining a once great party.
@Ronald-d1i2oI will never vote for conservative again and this refusal to concede reality to accept what they did to the country is why.
@marcdawson2156i never vote tory
@jasonjordan1936Trump exposed and broke Starmer. His weak response to Iran exposed just how weak the once world power the UK has become. What an embarrassment. Brits, take your great country back.
@tommaxwell429The left crying again
@StriderTierneyReform can not keep going forward by putting up a Plumber against a career professional politician !
@Ivan-z3e3iBrilliant news i normal wouldn't wish death on anyone. I didn't even know he was ill . Hopefully whatever it is Lammy got it too .
@stevebaylis7973It's not the first Tory by-election victory in Scotland since 1967, it's the first gain since then. But the Tories held their seat in a by-election in Edinburgh North in 1973. So 1973 was the last time they won a Scottish by-election, and 1967 was the last time they gained a Scottish seat in a by-election.
@perolagrande2% Tories! Trying so desperately to be relevant. Bye Bye... Bye Bye đ
@MrGadgieStarmer is an empty suit. He stands for nothing. But Starmer isnt the problem. Hes a symptom of the problem. The real problem is five decades of every successive government embracing neoliberal disaster capitalist economic policies which has made the rich richer and everyone else poorer. Replacing the leader of a dead neoliberal right wing Blairite party, owned by war mongers, right wing kleptocrats, billionaire capitalist parasites and Zionist ethno supremacists like Labour is like putting a plaster on a gunshot wound to the head. This Labour Party is the biggest driver of the rise of the nationalist right because they are compromised, lost all its original key socialist characteristics and have failed to act to improve the material conditions and wealth inequality of the British proletariat. Now they are just another cog within the neoliberal uniparty apparatus alongside Tories, Reform and Lib Dems.
@Redpilled66Great to see this vile labour government imploding.
@JonathanBeadle-s8hStarmer had one job and one job only when he was elected: return the UK back in the EU.
@ljcbvideocan someone actually tell me why Reform should be in?
@luigiwoo4469Reform the uk .đŹđ§

A political party is made up of more than one believable person.Badenoch is the mannequin in the shop window.When I take a peak behind the curtain,all the usual Tory suspects are hiding there.
@custer9572increasingly toxic?
I don't think so mate
For a start Burnham hasnât been elected . No manifesto therefore a Snap Election
@alro1813The political landscape in England is fkd to be quite honest. The right wing media (The Sun, Telegraph and Daily Mail) runs hourly stories berating any leader that they don't like (along with the daily obligatory cancer scare story) and people take it as truth. I'm not quite sure why Starmer is so unpopular (I'm centrist I suppose). Is he a bad communicator - yes. He could do with some more passion and conviction. Does the Labour party have bad communication as a whole - definitely. My gripe with Starmer is that he's taking shekels and using our military to help commit a genocide. He's tried to appease the right - knowing that they're consuming outlets such as The Sun daily. I personally think we need to stop the migrant boats whatever the cost. He's not appeasing the left with some policies. He seems to have been banned on commenting that the country's in a real mess because of the last incompetents. I've even seen presenters tell him that he can't say that - but it's true!!! He needs to be a whole lot bolder and he needs to get our military and financial grip of Israel off our country and if he can't do it he should step down
@belon6203Translation: The block Muslim vote and Globalist are fighting the populist. They are terrified of FARAGE!
@user-ww1tf3ed1bNah, it isnât. But keep gaslighting,
@sikugord03Why would a Tory expect anyone to vote for him/her?
@50RobinHillno it wouldn't starmer is the wrong direction totally
starmer needs to go and the whole of his cabinet
Why do the media give cretins like this air time. He and his party left the country in tatters. But here he is telling us what has gone wrong since they were booted out. Heâs like a bad smell that canât be got rid off. Shameless and the news media should be embarrassed and ashamed to sit there listening to him and not challenge him. Disgraceful
@brianmcdonnell2241What a snake this guy is
@belon6203Burnham might be the splash of fresh air Labour needs ... Better than anyone who was in Starmer's cabinet. I'm more interested in who he's going to picking as chancellor as I'm not a fan of Rachel Reeves. I agree that reform is increasingly toxic but perhaps not enough. Imo Reform needs to be increasingly toxic with the media
@leesimpson6334We can not have toxic politics
@Percival007_MagicMore properganda, vote reform
@gavinhazard75Mel is a complete Cxxx supported Rishi Sunak and wanted to make huge cuts to benefit Until it dawned on him the scale of poverty But continues his Islamphobia i hopes he falls down a drain preferably in the countryside đ
@gullygullible9774They destroyed the country and are gone for a generationâŠ
@anthonycook5876The fool is a hypocrite
@anthonycook5876Tories got 2% why are they asking this Muppet. Reform increased its vote. They also vote 8 councillors in the recent locals.
This Muppet is just trying to propagandise.
Why the Tories won in Aberdeen when it was the Tories that started all this net zero bs and stopping drilling and windfall taxes on the oil and gas industry, is anyone's guess
Stride is another Tory lier
No more toxic than sky news and the BBC , both whom regularly lie and misinform the public
@DanRyan-v5ySame Old Tories with a low key weirdo leader
@wildandbarefootBorrowing costs for UK under Labour are only going to rise because everybody knows that Labour is an unsafe pair of hands, with an extremely poor grip on promoting growth.
Tragic foreign policy, terrible energy policies, non existent industrial policy and an agricultural policy that can only lead to food insecurity, meanwhile as a post industrial service sector economy, the AI future could completely net zero the UK.
Strides face is a picture when Burnhams name is mentioned because he knows that's the worst possible scenario for all of the other political parties here to have to face up to when he becomes the Labour leader and therefore PM.
@tomkenyon3721I have never heard such rubbish in my life
@xavierhucklenbruch1798So like Labour then. OK.
@notjustforhackers4252Erich Honecker of British politics.
Starmer belongs to 1984 GDR not 2026 GBR.
This man is hyperbolic. His views lack credibility. Too hyperbolic.
@BettyBooHooTVThe tories did the real hard work and opened the boarders
@nigeldix4841ATTENTION!
Masks cause horrendous pollution that hurts our environment very much. Google:Disposable face masks used during Covid have left chemical timebomb.
