Yo the game is so big that even the beginners guide is super long 👌😭

One of my favorite backgrounds I like to play as because I can work the head canon into the story is the File Not Found background with the Alien DNA, Empath and Wanted traits. Basically, my character was part of a UC Xenowarfare division during the Colony War where they were looking to combine alien DNA into humans to make super soldiers. In addition to the physical attributes it also granted a low grade telepathic ability (which is why the Empath trait has actual tangible effects rather than just being a personality type) and also ties into why my character is affected by the Artifacts. After the Colony War ended and the Armistice was signed, the UC tried to bury the whole operation to hide that they were involved in human experimentation. My character escapes being purged and has been on the run ever since. And because the UC can't hunt me down in an offical capacity, they have to work through the special bounty system with the Trackers and actually ties into how the Trackers were even made to be an offical function of the system to begin with.

I've been playing starfield for a long time. Clocked 200hrs upto now and still didn't finish the game. I enjoyed every aspect and corner of starfield. With Mod creations the exploration has become so much more fun. I would like more content in the game for future.

What works best for ship combat

I typically run bounty hunter background but I'm thinking of doing an explorer background. For traits I pick adoring fan and taskmaster to compliment each other and the third trait I randomly choose one or none.

Pro Tip: the best advice from a 2500+ hour veteran: just play the game. Nothing is out of reach. Find what part or parts of the game you enjoy and remember to return to those parts often; the whole game can be enjoyed better if you do.

the only tip u have is save ya money and dont buy it and ya time by not playing it

Im a loot all use all person.
I use my companion to carry weapons armor and outfits with different traits and effects in case I need to switch for enemy types or because I ran out of ammo.

I also have them carry the 20 cutters and guns I loot from enemys.

Somethings I learned. Don’t bother with the Dream Home trait. As you get a free apartment in Jemison for completing a quest line. Also with contraband. Selling early game at the Den in the Wolf system is really handy as there is not system entry scanning. Happy travelling.

First thing you should do is mod the register ship cost. The current rate is very dumb they did it for some dumb balance reason.

I collected a whole. Stack if resouces. And weapons. 👍 and tools. So i dumped all my weapons. In 1 room and me resouces. In another room. , down stairs. ,that was my 2nd ship that i had to.
