On the LY jump…uh…it’s pretty early on the game on PS5 and it’s 28LY’s at least in where I’m at, and I’m level 8. So….seems pretty early on.

Step one: save yourself the time and don’t play this woke boring sloppy game. We were robbed of a truly good and unique space rpg that could have been full of soul because of marxist activist freaks and corporate busybodies. Please spend money and time elsewhere so we can get back to making beloved games.

Less than hundred hours in game. But have noticed it's not Skill Points that cause a bottleneck, but skill leveling tasks. Leveling up is easy, but leveling up a Skill, requires certain tasks to be completed. Many of these tasks can be done without combat IE at low level.
EDIT If you need a Daedric Artifact to pick a lock in Skyrim, Fallout, or Star Field. The Character is not the problem, the Player is.

34:57 for any incoming PlayStation players picking this game up and finding this video…the Wolf system doesn’t scan and if you go to The Den, you can sell contraband at the trader immediately inside and to the left. Think it’s a trade federation merchant.

Excellent and really comprehensive beginners guide! Thank you very much!!! It’s so good that I have only one rather pedantic pet peeve point to make. Bethesda, like many other companies, isn’t very literate and they are unaware that there is no such thing as “over encumbered”. Encumbered and encumbrance are both adjectives and states of being. Saying “over encumbered” is like saying “more better”; it doesn’t mean anything. “Over weight” means something because weight, by itself, isn’t a state of being.

One aspect of the skill tree that doesn't get NEARLY enough coverage is the fact that you can skip a tier completely if you put enough points in a lower tier. For example, tier 3 requires 8 skills, so you could spend 8 points on tier 1 skills and tier 3 will unlock. If I understand it correctly.

A thing you missed. Is stealing a ship on the ground and it takes off but you keep dying over and over from not 100% sure maybe from decompression because I died before getting to the cockpit 7 times. Did open the cabin then the crew died also. haha.

Why aren't there any vids That talk about which starting traits are skills that you can get anytime and which can only be chosen at the beginning.

i just discovered the game and i played elite dangerous, so much is compareable about these 2 games. only the ship building i love! defenitly im going to fly c class

Big hints for the stealing and contraband carrying type. The Wolf system then The Den space station in Wolf. No scans for contraband when arriving. The trade authority is happy to buy the yellow contraband items. Also you can sell any stolen items to any vendor and then use the buy back page to get the items back and they will be clean and no longer stolen. Easy laundering of stolen things. Just don't close the trade window before buying the items back or you will then have to pay full vendor price to get the stuff back!

i just got this game for either 33% or 50% off & i really think it has SO much potential to be the tertiary arm of the bethesda branding if they take the feedback in stride & work to improve upon it.

i’ve been a bethesda fan since i could first understand questing, with morrowind being my first real RPG on Xbox. mass effect is probably my favorite rpg series though, and i’ve always said how much i’d love a bethesda game in a mass effect setting. and this game honestly surprised me with how good it is compared to how bad ppl were bashing it. i’m genuinely having so much fun with it

but what i’m worried about is bethesda throwing a tantrum bc ppl didn’t like this game and decide to throw away a potentially amazing IP rather than building upon the great foundation and fixing the issues ppl have and making a generational game with Starfield II

My first play was 13 hours straight. I went to bed at five in the morning. Sheesh best game on Game Pass.

I found out ,,,,every time you go to a factory. On a planet. And find some crimson bandits in there. ,A N D THEY SHOOT AT YOU FIRST , you have to defend your self. ,,so you shoot a few ,,,,,NEXT THING. Sarah Morgan starts blasting you for killing them. Gives you a lecture on this, that. Bla bla bla ,,,, so you have to come up with an excuse. ,,,,BUT SHE STILL WHINGES. AT YOU. , SHES NEVERRRRR. HAPPY. NEVERRRRRR. OK 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
