So Vader answered him, like a normal person for such a stupid question. Next, he sweared to him about not to talk with anybody what he saw. And he was nervous, scared, not proffesional as a technician/medic. In the eyes of Vader he was not credible, untrustworthy. Thats why Vader choose to end him.
