A few fan edits were made in the spirit of Topher Grace’s cut, but none of them fully satisfied me. They went on too long or the quality of the editing wasn’t strong enough. They also cut too much out of Episode 1. I decided to do one myself.

After working for a few months with friends to help and give me notes, I’ve created a fan edit that I think satisfies. It sticks to the story of Anakin’s descent into the dark side, his relationship with his mother, his thirst for glory, and his somewhat unhealthy relationship with Padmé.

In Attack of the Clones I really like the opening Amidala assassination attempt - then second attempt in her chamber - Ben and Anakin chasing the shapeshifter sequence - discovery of the dart - that leads then to the Komino water planet + discovery of the Clone army - this entire section is vital and adds a lot of mystery and world building. This editor is reckless ;)

The whole Anakin and Padme dialogue where they start to get to know each other and fall in love is so bad. The writing, I'm not sure if it's the bad acting, but it's so terrible. It needs to be cut out.

Always wished phantom menace had been better. It was disappointing for so much hype. Watched it in theaters and was so disappointed. And no matter what, all of them would have been better if jar jar Binks had gotten eaten within minutes by a huge creature or just accidentally blown himself up.
