Star Trek Goofs and Bloopers
Video Overview & Insights
Relive Star Trek goofs and bloopers from the original Star Trek series of the 1960's. See goofs featuring fake rocks, deja vu where people go by more than once, shirts that spontaneously break apart, dropped phasers, and uniforms and locations that change from one shot to the next in the same scene.
At the end of the video, laugh at some classic Star Trek bloopers that have been circulating between Trekkies for decades featuring William Shatner as Captain Kirk, DeForest Kelley as Dr. McCoy, Nichelle Nichols as Uhura, Leonard Nimoy as Spock, and James Doohan as Scott.
0:00 Intro
Nomad thought Uhura's singing served no useful purpose.
0:22 Charlie X an amazingly quick change of uniform for Captain Kirk
0:45 Where No Man Has Gone Before a case of deja vu
Dont need the commentary

Aww, you missed the phaser falling off McCoy's belt, and he watches it for a sec, as Kirk bashes out the glass in Khan's biopod.

I guess all us long time star trek watchers have our own set of bloopers that we've noticed with our modern TV's. Thanks for pointing out many that I never noticed.

9:36 Worst Star Trek episode ever
10:12 Star Trek bloopers
In "Journey to Babel" when McCoy is operating on Spock's father there is a piece of machinery over the patient. Some smoke appears coming up from behind the machinery. Either Deforest Kelly has a cigarette hidden back there or the machine is cauterizing something on the patient.
In "Wolf in the Fold," when Mr. Hengist flips out in the conference room and starts to fight with the crew he turns into a stunt man with a very wobbly bald head piece then turns into Mr. Hengist again as he lays laughing on the floor saying, "Die, die, all die," because McCoy gave him a shot of tranquilizer.
More User Perspectives
These were supposed to be junked after the annual cast parties, but Gene Roddenberry kept them and started showing them at conventions in the 1970s and it pissed Leonard Nimoy off.
Nimoy's position was that an actor who knows they can be made fun of will become afraid to take chances and it hurts the process (can't say that I think he was wrong). Roddenberry thought it was about money (people were paying premiums to see his "Great Bird of the Galaxy" presentations, and it was his main source of income) so he thought offering Nimoy his own print would solve the problem.
Who are you so fast answer π§
@SamsungM33-t7zIam in 4 or fifth class never miss these episodes sunday at 11 what ever I do i will see and William shatner is my favourite hero in the series
@SamsungM33-t7zThanks somuch for the post. I watched the original srties in the 60's. I would liked to have met Gene Roddenberry.
@frankieaddams3937They did amazing wotk on a shoestring budget. As far as Christine's hairstyle change, most women change their hairstyle. Its not that big a deal. The beauty of ST was the morality play. Sometimes it could be hokey, but it was always entertaining. I still want a holodeckβ€β€β€
@katemetzger3740They ALWAYS had bolder issues on ST. Sometimes they even bounce when they roll away (see The Arena).
@joangalt6270Happy birthday Mr. Shatner!πΊπ
@tyskerbarn1963Malo ,malisimo,pesimo,dedicate a otra cosa.
@Latitud61You do an AWESOME JOB. BRAVO π
@BobGerathyYou assume too much. Giant 1 on the right threw a spear so not a threat. Giant 2 on the left however...
@mikeyearwoodGrew up watching the original series, thanks for this video!!!
@ScottsguardsKHAN IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ONE.
@tinak.356I LOVE STAR TREK.. I COULDN'T SEE THE HAND PUSHING THE ROCK. I LOVE THE SHAT!!! I WAS A YOUNG WOMAN WHEN STAR TREK.... I LOVE THE ONE WITH JOAN COLLINS WHERE KIRK FALLS IN LOVE WITH HER... " SPOCK, SEZ. ' HE KNOWS DOCTOR, HE KNOWS".... LOL
@tinak.356Starfleet Academy has no Bloopers.
@robertcornelius3514Denny Crane. Denny Crane. Denny Crane.

@doncody675I loved it because the cheap make was often soo obvious.
@tryhardintclWhen are we going to see the series? ALL OF IT?
@pepper419I love the original Star Trek with Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner and Deforest Kelly Great show Travel the universe seek out other life forms and help when needed Very Logical I'm sure Spock would agree β€β€β€
@CarolynGracePalmerThere were no bad episodes!! It was great fun back in the days growing up with this crew!!!!πππͺπ«‘π
@DalePotter-v7cOkay c'mon... Uhuru was humming, and Finnigon IS from Kirk's academy days. Spock clearly says the giant-spear guys are surrounding the party by listening to their sounds, so ya, firing anywhere is LOgiCal. Today is yesterday screens show space dust DERP! Bruh, when stunned, you can STILL have twitches (like the zombie lady).
@kurtolson6065The bloopers are amazing!
@mativeiI love these!
@jackiwheeler6963Someone has way too much time on his hands,
@mitchellkent1815Hilarious!

@userrobinmpVery funny π€£ππ πππππ ππ€£ star trek bloopers I never notice them the episodes goofπ€ππ€ͺππ until now 2025 thank you for sharing I watched all the episodes in 1976 good oneπ
@robertespinoza9147Never forgot the time I saw Kirk on the side of the bed putting his boots on and his lady friend sitting and brushing her hair. Took me years to realize what just happened. ππ
@juliekopack5524when I was in 5th grade, I wrote a story and sent it to Gene Roddenberry and he wrote back and thanked me but said he had his own ideas. I ended up making the school put a play on with it and I played Mr. Scott. what a goof
@stuntgirl56-therachelvande24I watched all of the original shows in my friends garage. We had it all set up with everything that we needed to have a great time! My friends were Margie and Mitzi jones . I would give anything to see them again.
@diannelane5211harcourt fenton mudd
@bradli3460The "Enterprise" Bloopers were funny too as were the "TN:NG".
@virginiaconnor8350The TOS 'gold' uniforms actually were green, they just didn't show up right on screen. There're reasons the old (American) television broadcasting standard, NTSC, was sometimes said to stand for 'Never The Same Color'.
@tomkerruish2982He stopped and changed his tunic ANYWAY. Jump cutting a story a way of life in cinema. Our own reality has glitches π
@jackmclaughlin4552The shows from when i was a kid were best they don't have shows on tv like they were back then
@Tina23-e3qI used to watch every episode of star trek i could i loved Dr spock he was my favorite.
@Tina23-e3qI found a good blooper in "Court Martial". The huge Sears crescent wrench Finney uses to attack Kirk is not there when Kirk enters engineering to confront him.
@philkarn1761We had a black and white TV when I was growing up so I missed a lot and then watched it in color later on.
