I still think it would have been better if Goblin was the only villain. The other villains were like background noise in the movie Ride Along.

For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. When he enlists Doctor Strange's help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who've ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.

I love seeing Andrew’s Peter redeem himself, but can we appreciate how Tobey’s Peter looks when Green Goblin calls out to them? That’s not just panic; that’s honest to God fear. He knows whatever is about to happen will suck - a lot.

i like to believe he didn’t save MJ because she was innocent, but rather because he didn’t want Tom to go through the torture he had to deal with.
it’s a lot like time traveling to a younger version of yourself to save them from the heartbreak that ruined your life.

@manuelorozco7760Andrew imparts so much emotion on his face here that you can tell there's a deep pain he's holding. He's able to say so much without even saying a word. Even someone that hadn't seen his movies could probably get a sense that he'd failed someone in a similar situation and was overwhelmed by doing it right this time.

How Maguire saved Gwen in Spider man 3
You can tell, in that moment, he used literally every once of his strength to shoot him down to her. All of his might, poured into not letting MJ die like Gwen did.
