Gaining a proper understanding of the Spanish footballing pyramid can be a difficult and daunting task. Anything below the Segunda Division can also get lost in the sheer amount of clubs, vast array of B teams and geographical specific grouping systems.
If I'm not mistaken, the groups are based on geographical proximity but don't have any defined limits (I'm Spanish, text for traductor google).
