While the vast majority of all drives are two passengers or less, when people buy their own vehicles, they want the vehicle to fit the edge cases. Like bring the family to the store, movies, soccer practice, etc. Picking up friends for an outing, etc. Two seater cars generally don't sell well, and this isn't a performance two seater even. It's unlikely this would appeal to very many people as 'their car'. If this is sold more widely, it's likely to be bought buy people who want to rent it out as a cybercab.

Burry is possibly assuming that SPCX will tank after mid-July to 100 or less and will not make a rich offer for TSLA, if it makes one at all. That in turn will disappoint TSLA investors and bring down TSLA's price along with all the other plummeting AI stocks. That could all happen, but I personally think TSLA specifically will out-perform everyone including SPCX for the next 12-18 months, regardless of parts of the bubble popping. If he mentioned TSLA last, maybe it is not the biggest short position. But shorts will be short.
