And also I've noticed that Kundhavai pirattiyar played by Trisha Krishnan in PS I &II directed by Mani Ratnam IS NOT Kundhavai pirattiyar in the books. Kundhavai in the books is graceful, yes; but she's HELLA CONTROLLING. Like a mother hen for her chicks. She isn't just some "soft spoken intelligent princess" as Mani Ratnam showed, she's ACTUALLY a restrained princess, controlling, obsessive when her plans fail/are obstructed AND TOTALLY DEVOTED TO HER CHOZA NADU
