@karlsimmering460i have never been self described or have had the title of "metalhead" bestowed upon me, but i know enough to know.....it ain't him. this is some al-gore-rhythm fed pop junk that uses metal concepts (live drums, tuned down instrumentals) and dark imagery to have the presentation in a world where the basic understanding of pop music is ONLY electronic bubblegum starlets.
i don't HATE this, to hate is to think critically and define the art with an intentional preference. the opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference. apathy. and for committing the highest criminal offense of artistry, i'm totally indifferent on this. completely vapid junk made by those that sold out of artistic integrity for monetary gain. i'd rather just listen to metal music.
So listening to Def Leppard with the Royal Phil harmonic orchestra and the cover of the album has the stairway almost exactly what's in this video. Rock on
