Lyrics:

The best Song from both

— @Ottilie-p3u

I am just a poor boy

Though my story's seldom told

Beautiful song, but the beat is realy industrial. Surtout vers la fin oufffff 🤟🤟🤟

— @franciscote9886

I have squandered my resistance

For a pocket full of mumbles, such are promises

"Looking for the places only they would know." 61 years just now hearing.

— @tamarastokrp9122

All lies and jests

Still a man hears what he wants to hear

I was a student in my 20's and listening to these songs in admiration. I am 63 now and I still listen with the same feelings. Thanks God these beauties exist in my life.

— @MehmetHarunYuce

And disregards the rest

When I left my home and my family

ชอบมาก

— @ณัฐภรณ์วงค์ไพศาลทรัพย์

I was no more than a boy

In the company of strangers

My son is getting married today and I am not there and so I sent him this. It was his favorite song when he was a little boy and he used to sing it all the time. It’s still one of his favorite songs even though he’s a millennial.

— @susancurry1319

In the quiet of the railway station

Running scared,

I was a boxer once a long time ago, it was a rough life. Long hours training, working in a meat factory just to make ends meet. Had a beautiful girl that I thought the world of. Then I got my break and had the fight of my life. After a hard fought victory I held the belt. Though the win was not the only thing I won. I also had taken a lot of damage in that fight and it damaged my brain. Anyway I married that girl and I still love her today. RIP Adrian.

— @Feniansoul

Laying low, seeking out the poorer quarters

Where the ragged people go

Immortal songs ❤❤❤

— @debankur007

Looking for the places

Only they would know

My sons the travellers I want to lead them the further you go away from me the more I care and need to lead you back that the ones I have on my side are safe but the children that wonder blindly thinking they don’t need me I pine more for they don’t no how much danger they are in even the slave masters they are not responsible for the past that we Julian helped me to get to the heart you must get to the brain that’s what that little angel taught me he was a help to me and no matter what they can’t take the babies inocence . Can’t you all see I had it worked out I played with Anne Marie Devine you did your job divinely mother a credit to you boss now I can pass on what you give to me I’m trying to feed you all the the truth plant the seed the pips that you may live and I can show you the path to gate way home that if I go to heaven without creating peace and the forest to to lead you all to the kingdom when the day comes the sun is surely heading towards earth that can be sooner than later I’m no one on earths enimie I’m trying to help you I’m trying to save you no matter what you have done

— @MaggiB-g7t

Lie la lie, lie la la la lie lie

Lie la lie, lie la la la la lie la la lie

What most don't appreciate about these two artist is just how in sync they are harmonically. Almost every syllable, nuanced vibratto, voice volume, tempo and such match. Along with the song writing and guitar work, their ability to be in sync in almost all aspects is what makes their work stand out and endure for so long.

I always imagine the ending lie la lie part as him openinly weeping in the rain as it storms around him, until his voice becomes hoarse and he's too exhausted to keep crying, and the rain slows but doesn't stop. Earlier in the song the percussion are the blows he takes as a boxer but in that section it's as if life itself is dealing him blows. Thats how it sounds to me.

Born in 1960, on my way out now. Heard this growing up, heard it sometimes on the "oldies" stations when I didn't think I was that old! 80% disabled vet, no social security check worth a damn, but hear this and think "at least I tried", as I'm sure a bunch of other people did. We did what we could, you can't ask much more. If we go early, it's were tired of fighting life for no gain.

#SIMONANDGARFUNKEL #BRIDGEOVERTROUBLEDWATER There is no doubt in my mind that this is one of the greatest duos in music. They had awesome chemistry. It was distressing to learn of their split. #SimonAndGarfunkel had splendid chemistry. Paul Simon, was the principal songwriter, and Art Garfunkel added excellent supporting vocals. Hopefully, one day they will again collaborate on an album together. #SimonAndGarfunkel were a fantastic pairing. Many of their songs are unforgettable, classics 😀👍👍👍💜💛🧡💚💙❤️💖

mulingarfunkells im wondering about my abusers as a childhood and the severe treatment that was provided by a few although u didn't know any different some had a softer side put the final blow was caused and so unesseraly ( taking it out on a child with irreversabe damage)
so who the fuck do you think you are to ( to leave my hips on concreate for 32 weeks and 52 weeks) when i had my little plans
of not wanting to be wrong and fights that was going on
. some of you would have made great adoptive parents at that age, as cavan didn't want me to subject a child to that put then continuously use me.
however the thought of the destruction caused to a child's life which was supposed to be disregarded and carry on. now if i showed eye contact to the wrong or to any man ( just what do you think you achieved by this process, smufs ) that meant i could never develop as a child because of yee and never develop a relationship or you lot would get the gards/band on them for no reason, which happened numerous times and any platonic relationship is none of your business . there is a strong scence of impulsiveness of desires upon another life. you can no longer work in this way and intrude on personal or private life and double check you have me down as a boy or male over the years.

however the seriousness of what took place and how i was further neglected through sorrow and everything else you made and everything that went with it.
i am still most of all instilled to lease with a solicitor to protect my interests,, so why hasn't this been done as requested 500 times????
i would comply if i were you and get better advisers.
your not fit some of you to be parents or advisers or doctors and the underpinning knowledge from the pharmacy technician 3000 paid, course wasn't supposed to be pinned on a table and in my private space in Essex ( that charity WILL be signed over to me with immediate effect) i have to start somewere. please provide full documentation to me .

When I was still a boy, I used to walk up and down the strip every morning on my way to fetch the papers and coffee from this old guy on the corner. I loved the summer time because of how warm the mornings felt on my ritual walk. But in the winter time, it was quite brutal at times. Even with a heavy coat mind you... One day, I had just finished fetching the papers and coffee for my old man. You see, he was an Airforce veteran in WW2 so he was a real wise-cracker.. So I'm walking home and I faintly hear the sound of what I thought was someone cracking a whip at one of the local shops I was passing. Well it turns out it was, in fact, this song playing for the first time that I remember on a radio. I decided to go to the local record shop down the block.. Inside, I purchased this album after singing the melody to the store owner and listened to the whole thing 5 times in a row. Mesmorizing.. But this song I listened to maybe thirty times that night, repeatedly rewinding to the final segment. "Lie lie lie, lie lie lie LIEeee..." I would sing every night for a good hour or so over the record every night before going to bed. I was only 24 at this time, but even still, it would have appeared that the repetitive nature of my angelic renditions agitated the old man.. So, he squeezed my nose real hard and told me to quit being a knucklehead, and said I was a pain in the ass, and that I needed to get a "real job"... I'm 98 now, so this was a long time ago. To this day, my nose hasn't been the same. It's hard to breath now.. Anyways, what I'm trying to say here, is that, if you're gonna go on walks in the morning, make sure its for something special. Like getting the morning papers and coffee for your dad. 😉🙂
