She Got Her Dream Hatching Eggs!!

Video Overview & Insights

Bee farming! Checking fields planting buckwheat and setting Caitlins Hatching eggs!

I've watched a lot of your videos, I am thinking when we buy our new house, that I am going to do quail. Most likely Jumbo A&M's. If I want to be a certified breeder is it better to have 5 to 1 per cage (I was thinking 1x2x3' cages. Or would it be better to have 3 to15 in a 1x2x7' cages. My goal is going to be raising, Meal worms, black soldier fly, Red Wigglers, Quail, small amount of Black Australorps, and some Welsh Harlequin ducks. Very small operation, most likely in the order I listed, We are only going to have an acre or so. Other than the creatures I'm going to do Micro greens and Mushrooms. I would like to win one of those incubators. The Towers I was thinking stack of 4 Top 2 are breeders bottom 2 would be separations of boys & girls. I value and love the information in your videos. BTW~ Living off an Ex-husband right now so I can't do the Patrion thingy.

JUNE GIVEAWAY!!!

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Patreon is a great idea but as someone said below, $1, $5, $10 a month would be fantastic, same content but if we can afford more take it, you are wonderful couple and make brilliant videos. Secondly as someone said below, please don't give away all your income from Patreon, free giveaways are great and wonderful but mostly we will be supporting you on Patreon to help you both grow your farm as you wish not to have the chance of a free gift. 5% of you income would be fantastic but honestly I would recommend 1%, it is not being mean at all, the vast majority of us would like to see you grow as you both would like and takes money. Keep most of it to reinvest in your dream(s). Why would a lot of us wish you had a fund me account when you had bird flu, because we love you for what you both are, keep it the same but more of it please. Best of luck.

First of all, I am in love with those gray brahmas you have.
I have never tried watching anything through a patreon account. I'm not even exactly sure what that is. I'm sorry I am no help.

I would be very interested in doing that. That's better than every time you put out a video you talk about money this and money that which there is one channel that does that every video almost. Which I won't mention which channel but it is getting old. But in the same breath they have had a lot bought for them. But I personally love you guys channel for your knowledge and variety of stuff. And I can not wait to buy some honey so hopefully it is a success for you.

Patreon is a decent platform, and one dollar is very reasonable, but remember they take a cut because they provide the platform and the features. It's also another separate platform people have to go visit on top of all the other social media platforms they already visit. Might be nice way to expand out (which I totally agree on diversifying) but also consider other avenues to get the same benefit. You're basically wanting a way to build a community and earn funds, so consider selling group/themed memberships on your website (which you already have set up and going with CC processor) and then give a link to an invite only Facebook group or Discord server when someone buys a membership. Discord has almost no ads (extremely minimal) and you can build tons of content themed channels inside the discord, you can stream and talk in voice and chat, etc. Caveat is that it is a different platform and older people aren't as familar with it, but the learning curve is pretty easy in my opinion. If you wanted to keep it to a more well known app, then do it on FB (which does have ads) as an invite only group page... then you have people still in the same app they already use but have cut out the middleman of Patreon taking a cut.

I would suggest you go with different levels of patreon. $1, $5 or $10 would be an idea. It would allow you to build your farm. Knock down the barn! 😆

Hey you two...I just watched the entire video, and all I can say is do what you think is the best for you. I've learned a bunch of new things since you came on to YT, and they're always good ideas for SOMEONE to add to what they do wherever they are. For me, there's been some successful things I've done from your videos (roll out nesting boxes), and some that weren't so good (pasty butt advice...rarely see it with my chicks, but had a case, tried your method and the chick died within an hour). All I'm saying is that you offer tons of fabulous ideas for others to try out. I can afford the $1 for Patreon. I'll watch either way. Do whatever is best for you.

I loved watching all the young chickens being let out into the yard! It made my heart happy to see so many doing chicken things😂. I'd definitely join your patreon channel! I'm loving the longer format videos lately. I have no idea how you two have the energy to do all of the farming, as well as all the video content for this channel. You are both loved and respected for your love and dedication to farming and to each other.

I’d do Patreon. Even though last time I used it, it was a pain to navigate. But I like the idea.

It was great to see chickens in the chicken yard again! I think patreon is a great idea. I think you should ask for minimum of $1 (which would allow everyone to be able to afford it) but allow people to contribute what they want to. There are a lot of people that get income through patreon. I have never signed up to contribute to one but I would for you because we enjoy your content so much.

@kerrisnyder3862
@

Can I suggest you don’t give away all the money people give you. We wouldn’t give you money through patron for you to give it to someone else. Maybe make multiple levels - say $1, $5 and $10. Use the money to create content. If you, I don’t know say you build a new bee hive, build two and give one away. Love the show, got the T shirts and appreciate the hard work you put into this
