What’s your best Shadow Pokemon?
Capturing shadow Pokemon isn't all that difficult. You fight a Team Go Rocket grunt or leader floating around in a balloon or hanging out at a PokeStop.
Once you capture the Shadow Pokemon, you have the option to leave it with the purple aura and red eyes, or purify it. In this video, I explain the benefit of both! 😃

All the shadow Pokemon I have can’t change their frustration attack how is it good when frustration does 12 damage plus 2 for being shadow? What are IVs and how do I check them I literally looked it up and I still don’t understand

Got a 9 15 14 tyranitar at 1496 cp...i dont think she's good at great league or high enough cp for raids or gym, so should i still purify that thing since i got it from that bug masculine Rocket dude not the normal ones

@danielmartyn7548I didn't know that it boosted the IVs by 2 levels when you purified them. I purified my shadow Swanna earlier and I wasn't sure why it suddenly had 15 IVs in attack and HP but this explains it.

@6697carlosI think I'll purify my 13/15/13 Onix, as it can megaevolve when I evolve it into Steelix. True it's stronger as a shadow than as a hundo, and Steelix has very high defense and that can make up for the defense drop "shadow status" causes, but hundo and Mega could work better. Maybe I can get a shadow Onix with even better IVs that can RULE as a shadow Steelix in the Great League.
@PokeLexgnzlzAren't shadow Pokémon a lower level tho? Sure a maxed out shadow mewtwo would be better but if you don't have candies should a 2000+ cp one be better than a 1300 purified one?
@stratosm3154Hypothetically, if I have 15-15-6 before purifying, since +2 can't apply to the 1st two stats, will all three +2 apply to the 3rd stats, resulting in +2 x 3 = +6? So that will be 15-15-12? I know it sounds too good to be true but I just wanna double check
@jerryy7650Do you have a video of which shadow Pokemons you would purify or not? I have a skorupi that has about the same IV either way but I want to evolve. Not sure if I should evolve in shadow form or not

@tiago3387Still a little confused honestly, I have azelf 14 15 14, is it worth bumping that up to 4*? I honestly have like 3 or 4 pokemon I could also jump to 4*, I know people say most the time 0 15 15 is best and I agree shadow looks cooler, but something about having 4* feels amazing
@druskii90Doesn't the debuff to defense counteract the buff to attack making the results to battles similar? For example, you kill him 20 percent faster but he kills you 20 percent faster. Please I have to know.

Are these Pokémon worth keeping simply because they are shadow Pokémon? I need to clear bag space . I was thinking of either just transferring them for the stardust or purifying for the badge then transferring. What would you recommend?
@TurtwigFanOnly purified when a task is needed to do so. And I have received a medal for purifying whatever that 1st amount is.

@Grieffelsi think its just optional but one other thing is some pokemon that are shadow you absolutely should not like shadow mewtwo because since the attack is raised super high already shadow raises it more and it makes it the best pvp attacker in the game
