This was directly inspired by Christian Koller’s excellent video on the topic which can be found in the description, though having researched this event in great detail as one of many past hyperfixations, I felt it left out a lot of information, and so I made this.



I was only a fetus when these events took place. The closest I came to experiencing it was my mother's stories about watching the plane hit live while pregnant with me, but over my years of research into every aspect of this day, I like to think I've hit an equivalent understanding. My goal was always to strike a balance between the usual cold relay of information you often see in videos on this topic while also conveying the emotional and physical turmoil of the people who suffered through that day. People who were simply starting their day at work or taking a run-of-the-mill flight across the country one moment just to find themselves trapped in an ever-worsening nightmare the next.



For those interested in learning further on the topic, I recommend American September and BetweenTwoTowers as some of the few youtubers making quality content on the event and its impact. As far as films go, Paul Greengrass’s “United 93” is one of the best and most accurate historical movies about any event I’ve ever seen. Martin Guigui’s “9/11” released in 2017 is absurdly bad but never fails to make me laugh for all the worst reasons.



Also obligatory: Islam is a religion followed by two billion people of diverse cultures and backgrounds worldwide. Many follow their own interpretations of its messages and values, but most would agree these 19 hijackers are currently burning in the deepest levels of Jahannam. Don’t be a dick in the comments. Same goes for conspiracy nuts.

I'm a neophyte, but this video is a masterpiece of editing. I cannot imagine the amount of work that went into synchronization alone. The entire package becomes a dashboard for the omniscient viewer. I was a young adult when the attacks occurred. Our neighbor woke us up to watch TV (they did not have one). At that time, only the first plane had hit. We watched from about 8:58 in the morning (Eastern) onward. We had barely enough time to process that a probable accident had occurred in NYC, a plane hit a sky-scraper, while watching the live feed. Five minutes later, the person next to me and I both turned our faces towards each other with nearly the same spoken words, "That was no accident." The second plane had just hit its mark.

This video allowed me to relive the chaos with foresight. I remember the confusion. The wrong questions. Watching in 2026... I know it all. I cannot describe the sensation, but watching it unfold (again) in real-time, but knowing everything is incredibly unique. Thank you for the work. It is captivating.

You can tell the look on George's face after being informed by the WTC second plane that he didn't want to alarm the kids. But he had to wait until they finish and leave the classroom to see what's going on and how he was going to approach it.

This has to be the most impressive timeline video I’ve seen of this attack. How were you able to pinpoint the exact death count minute by minute?

Those firefighters on the left bottom corner. What were they doing? They were staying there for more than an hour, just looking at eachother and talking. What's the point? Can somebody explain?

I stopped watching tv about 25 years ago. This is the longest time I've watched tv (or the broadcast recording). And it's so lame and nonsence! The ad makes no sense, talk shows make no sense, just a brainrot which started now with tiktok or instagram, but decades ago.

wow this is an impressive compilation of multiple events -really builds the sense of dread. The conversation between United 175 and the air traffic controllers about AA flight 11 is just unbelievable given the fate of UA 175 also. Knowing how hard the people on United 93 FOUGHT to live, but failed-is so deeply upsetting. I could have done without the Stern show footage.

They have no idea that they're about to be hijacked too.
