The best historical movie I have ever seen!

I was a senior in high school when my parents took me to see this movie in theaters. It made me to learn more about Martin Luther King Jr and the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s.

Great movie, but a tough watch.

I remember seeing this movie in theaters with my parents and it taught me the history about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement and LBJ and may you rest in peace Tom Wilkinson for portraying our 36 President of the United States.

Wow such a disappointment I’m in Selma Alabama right now and it’s trash the town is nasty falling to the floor rotting away if it’s such important history why is the birth place being let to ruins 🥹

I get it! I guess because I’m African American. It’s about power and control thinking you’re better than some one else and you’re not. We were brought here in chains to work for white people and build America and when whites were rich or doing well they kicked us, beat us hung us. We all bleed RED! When is America going to get it. It’s as prevalent today as it was before Dr. King was murdered, shot down like a dog. We aren’t getting better but I pray that we can live together in peace and yet WE haven’t done a lot to end the bigotry and violence violence since slavery. Look at Jan 6th. What have you done to HELP equality? What are YOU willing to do. Like MLK said”If one person isn’t free then none of us are free.”Examine your history. What has your family done to end RACISM, Sexism or any other ism. We are all in this together whether we like it or not! Do Something, anything! Happy Birthday Dr. MLKing and thank YOU!❤
