Schostakowitsch: 7. Sinfonie (»Leningrader«) ∙ hr-Sinfonieorchester ∙ Klaus Mäkelä
Video Overview & Insights
Dmitrij Schostakowitsch:
Shostakovich was reincarnated for this performance. It's really quite uncanny how much Mäkelä looke like him. This is, by far, my favorite piece of music ever written. The story behind this symphony - both the official one from the Kremlin and the REAL meaning behind it - is a testabment to humanity's ability to persevere no matter what.

Sungguh mengesankan. 👍👍❤

@ЗокирчонТурсуновNo offense to those of you who are Germans. But when this wondrous symphony premiered in sieged Leningrad, a German army general, surely one of these aristocrats who secretly despised Hitler, heard this symphony and reacted by stating, "This city cannot be conquered."

@AntonineAtieno-b4uI’ve just imitated conductor’s motion and twisted my shoulder….
@지나가는슬라임-q9iExactly why is a conductor needed..
The musicians have the music sheet in front of them.
They had to have practiced...
So, at the moment of truth
They need help from a man with a pointy little stick 😂🎉❤
It's the best thing for a while to have no ad interruption in a music video on youtube. thanks!❤❤
