It is such a lovely moment every time I see how Genki is close to her baby any time he goes exploring, like she did with Gentaro (when she got him back) and Kintaro. Motherhood came naturally for her as she spent most of her time with her mother (short stay with another troup), returned to her mother, and her mother passing on. She didn't have experience watching other gorilla mommas. It came naturally, and beautifully for her. It's like she craved babies. ❤❤❤

Genki ❤That's my girl. She can really chow down... love watching her eat. Santaro trying out his legs.. he had a little prance to his walk. I notice he's still teething, and I assume that gorillas go through a long teething process. I'm obsessed with the teething. I remember when Kintaro didn't have all his teeth in yet... it took a while to notice his canines. I'm sure they're coming in now. Try to get a shot of Kintaro when he yawns.. I'd like to see his teeth.
