San Diego is one of my favorite places on the planet. For this very short trip I got to visit all my favorite places. As someone who grew up going here on vacation, it always feels like home! Here are all the places we visited if you're interested in planning a trip of your own!
Loved watching your tour of SD! I live here and must’ve passed by La Valencia dozens of times and never knew its historic significance. Thanks for showing it to us! Just a little FYI… the Cannibals exhibit is actually part of the Museum of Us and not a separate museum. The Museum of Us is composed of two separate buildings, and Cannibals: Myth vs. Reality happens to be what is currently on exhibit at the building across from the main one. I haven’t seen it yet, but it looks very interesting and thought-provoking.:-)

If you're staying longer than 3 days, I strongly suggest the San Diego Zoo and a visit to Coronado (although check to see if their beaches are open they've been having issues with water and air safety there).
I’ve always wanted to go to La Jolla Playhouse, now I know there is so much more to do there!

We stay at La Jolla Shores for a week the past few years and only go to the ocean each day. I missed so much in San Diego. Thanks for the suggestions.

@susanritzenthaler4502This made me so happy today! We live in Coronado in the winter and are back in Minneapolis for the not frozen months. I could see my condo in the distance when you panned the view from atop Cabrillo National and it made me homesick in a sweet way.
@melissasheridan6915In 2023 I was able to visit San Diego due to a work conference. It’s so beautiful. I added a day before and after the conference to explore. That area was so walkable. But also purchased the trolley ride to explore and see Coronado Beach. Put my toes in the water. Was able to observe some of the Navy seals training. Also cool to realize that you can see Mexico from the beach. Just an amazing place! Even with the June Gloom.
@4kidzmom797San Diego is a really fun place. My son's favorite city. We love that Mexican restaurant in Old Town. Great ambiance. We also love the fish taco place in that seaside village area. La Jolla is beautiful. The animals are great!

I love all of your Vlogs, but this one is hitting, particularly close to home! Some of my relatives live in San Diego (went to visit every summer as a kid) and I have very fond memories of La Jolla!
Also, we’re leaving out of San Diego in 136 days on the Disney Magic - 14 day cruise to Panama 🎉

@fab4lvr282Ah, loved this one so much. I lived in LA for 20 years and San Diego was my favorite weekend gataway spot. I have so many memories there as well. Particularly Old Town, with my daughter at several stages of her childhood. I love that Mexican restaurant you guys ate at and now I’m craving it! lol. And I have such a wonderful memory of taking my parents to Balboa park and walking around with them which is a particularly bittersweet memory because my mother is now mostly in a wheelchair after a stroke several years ago. This was a fantastic way to start my week Jen! Thanks so much for all you do 😊

If you get a chance go to the spruce suspension bridge. If you have grown up here you may or may not have seen it. It is over 100 years old in the middle of a neighborhood.
I was feeling down so I put this video on (because i know you bring joy and light everywhere you go) and now i feel so relaxed and happy! I spent so much of my own childhood in all the places you mentioned/visited and i was flooded with happy memories too. Thank you for bringing so much happiness to the world ❤😊
