The war in Ukraine has reached a tipping point. With more Ukrainian strikes on Moscow and Crimea, Russians are openly questioning Vladimir Putin and the entire war. Sitting in fuel lines, Russians discuss how they reached this point. And even the Russian elites are getting vocal about the war. Years of warfare are catching up with Russia. The question is, how much more can they take?

The thing about this war is that even if they were to finally, rapidly achieve all of Putin's objectives, it wouldn't do a particle of good for a single ordinary russian, possible exception being some women who get to trade in unwanted husbands for large death benefit payouts.
Basking in the glow of imperial glory only goes so far and doesn't actually make your life any better. I think Putin was banking on something quick and easy that would give him a similar boost to the one he got in 2014 when he seized Crimea, but that was always a pipe dream. Now his chickens are coming home to roost.

Russian individuals are mixing fuel with water and they sell it at 4 x the price. Putin is somewhere in one of his houses. Not in Moscow.

I warned all Ukrainians and supporters, this is a taste of what's coming, stop letting foreign powers into duping you into fighting a devastating war that you have no chance of winning. Make a deal and live peacefully as you did for 100s of years. Don't let the EU fool you.
Remember if you go too far and make putins favorite suit dirty he might just nuke kiev or lyviv.

Thank you for sharing this perspective!!!!
@kelvinw4835Thank you for insight and analysis, Paul. I have appreciated it very much.
@davidramos7254I am Russian. You have no idea what you are talking about, do you? ๐
@TwinHeadHoundI thought the internet was turned off for the average person?! It will be a cold hungry winter no matter what happens now.
@njcanucknice fireworks display in KIEV last night....more to follow.....to the last ukranian. [ if you insist ] by the way.....you are my fave comedian....keep it up. ๐ ๐๐คฃ๐
@24hourjukebox55A subtle difference between Prighozhin's uprising and a hypothetical one now to end the war is that Prighozhin didn't necessarily want to end the war. Even many of the Russians that want to 'end the war' really just want to wait, regroup, and try again to take Ukraine some time later. This cannot be allowed to be even considered much less attempted.
@HylanderSBI wonder, is that bottle in the background for when Krasnov hits the dirt? ๐
@ivan-CroatianMaybe the fuel line in Russia is so long because not everybody is queueing for petrol, they may just be gathering to discuss things. ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ
@Mike-dp5wdPaul, I've been following this war since day one and of the 20 or so YouTube channels I've been following, you've become one of my small core of channels that pretty well nails it when it comes to reliable information.
A lot of it may be speculative in nature, but you've generally been right on track when it comes to accurately predicting the outcome of various aspects of this war.
I think we can all see the light at the end of this tunnel growing brighter every day.
keep up the excellent work my friend and may the heroes be victorious, Slava Ukraini.
Dave from down under...
I get a delightful grin on my face revisiting clips by you, Jason Smart, and particularly by Retired General Ben Hodges. The three of you never wavered in your belief that that the Ukraine ๐บ๐ฆ โจ๏ธ would be victorious over Russia. You deserve to be loved and respected by freedom loving people everywhere. You deserve to be in a ticker tape throughout Europe with our Ukrainian Warriors. Slava Ukraini ๐บ๐ฆ. You are a statesman and a patriot. Drums and fife should follow you.
@user-hm9fv7mx9nwashboardwillie21:27 By destroying the engines of the citizens Putinโs making it harder for them to flee the country when he inevitably declares mass mobilization
@andrewwallwork9257I think you may be giving the Russian people too much credit. I am not sure they do blame Putin. I've seen posts blaming the Ukranians who "voted" to join Russia in Crimea and other occupied Ukranian oblasts.
@rkaybutler1018This is sounding a lot like the Russo Japanese war. Russia sent their navy around the world assuming they can defeat the "inferior" Japanese only to end up with their navy at the bottom of the Pacific.
@ram0166Leaders often forget that when people have nothing left to lose, they nothing left to lose.
@theelephantintheroom8016Every single gas station too. Dont get hit in the face when Russia throws in the towel.
@Chet-p5vSo, no freedom of speech in Russia if the boss doesn't like it. Donnie is trying to do the same thing here in the United States. I hope that brave Russian man will be okay, but we'll never hear anything about what happens to him. Overall, it seems to me that the world would be better off with Russia disappearing as a nation forever.
@jannibal9273Putin has the same iron grip on the country that Stalin had. There will not be an uprising within or without the Kremlin. Russia's only hope is the same as the U.S.', for a sudden, deadly stroke.
@IvanJardineYOU'RE BACK AND KICKING... ๐๐ป
@talonyoung6160Ukraine needs to wipe out every oil refinery within 100 miles of Moscow. They also need to wipe out the facilities that will handle any gas shipments that arrive from India or elsewhere. Also need to destroy refineries in agricultural areas. Make Russians pay for their illegal war crimes.
@glenpuyallup3847Yes, they are bothered by it, now that it isn't just on the TV.
@paulmurgatroyd6372Another excellent video. Thanks, Paul
@guychocensky3585Make Kiev Gaza Again
@sophiavergara3536Russian power struggle: "Bulldogs fighting under the carpet" (Winston Churchill) Putin knows this and is carrying out a cull of bulldogs. Much like Stalin did.
@edsedlak6827How would a popular uprising result in anything other than getting a lot of people killed, much less removing Putin from power? If Yevgeny Prigozhin couldnโt get Putin out of power how likely is it unarmed citizens would be able to? Look what happened in Iran.
@SaraHansard-ut4ulEvery Russian i ever worked with or around while building cheesecake factories, definitely had aggressive tendencies. Loud and obnoxious too. All 2 of them. Good times!
@jefff2206That's what happens when you have a leader that doesn't give a flying fuc about anybody's life
@proudbccanadianBrother your click bait thumbnails and titles are losing you all credibility. I used to watch your videos. But go back a year and youโre saying the same shit in every video, yet Russia still exists and the war is still ongoingโฆ
@Mikechin517Shame on USA, EU, and NATO for starting this war.
@Long-leggedRussia are on a slippery slope, and no coming back from it.....
@aubreymartin5020๐บ๐ฆ๐บ๐ฆ๐บ๐ฆ๐บ๐ฆ๐บ๐ฆ๐บ๐ฆ
@timothymachen687The fracture all over Russian society is because the fear that holds them together is broken. Ukraine broke it by making Putin weak and the more his army gets destroyed like chickens the more respect he will lose and the more ruzzians will call for his head.
@DapperDuck8Next: No talking to each other in the gas line. (by presidential decree)
@edsedlak6827thank you for the report and certain very relevant points you've gone over. things change slowly gradually then suddenly.
@shoestruck-v1qIts fascinating to watch them go through the thought process. Its so deeply ingrained to not criticize the government that they are now blaming the people in the occupied territories for telling them to invade. Its insane on so many levels.
@GolemRisingThank You!
@cardstockcollectorPutin will end like Koisos: "If you attack this country, you will destroy a great empire."
@Emerott"Relax, I'm an instagram influencer, I'm allowed to cut in line."
@i.p.knightly149No vacations in Spring, no gasoline in Summer, no harvest in Fall, no food by winter.
No Putin by spring.
Russian people are not as delusioned about "power of the people" as westeners. Russia is an autochratic regime. Authoritic regimes fall only when the circumstances that made them to hold on to power change. It does not matter how good or bad "common people" have it. It is a purely geopolitical power play. Other countries have much larger power to end the war and change the regime in Russia than Russian people ever will.
@emmaring82They're all responsible and scum. Putin is just one person. No one had that much power unless he is enabled to.
@TMHDSit's gonna be hilarious coming back to these NAFO cope videos in 2027, after Russia liberates Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. we can all laugh at clowns like you
btw, Ukraine is at 212k KIA
