@AdamKabanHaha, if we talk about the strongest versions of both, then yes — most of the powerscaling community gives the victory to Rimuru Tempest by a pretty significant margin.
Makoto Misumi has insane amounts of mana, the creation of his own dimension, the ability to create, heal, block, teleport, and many other powers that in the later stages are already approaching godlike levels in his world.
But Rimuru at the end of the Light Novel is on a completely different level:
Manipulation of time and space.
Information and existence recovery.
Abnormal absorption and analysis abilities.
Resistances to almost any type of attack.
A power that affects universes and dimensions on a huge scale.
So if someone asks: Anime only? You can argue and have a fight.
Light Novel vs. Light Novel at the peak of power? Rimuru takes the absolute majority of discussions in the community.
In short: Makoto is a monster, but Rimuru is already in the "not fair at all" category. 😆
