00:00 - Ridley Scott’s Iconic Movies
00:10 - Gladiator (2000)
One of the most bipolar directors of all time. I mean, what other director has had such ground breaking and incredible movies like Alien, Blade Runner, Black Rain, or Gladiator,
and then Prometheus, Exodus: Gods and Kings, and Napoleon.
02:04 - Gladiator II (2024)
03:59 - Alien (1979)
what a sigma
07:25 - Blade Runner (1982)
10:10 - The Martian (2015)
Many actors own Riddley their careers among them Russell Crowe, on the other hand we must thank him for giving us masterpieces like Gladiator or Blade Runner, however Gladiator had a huge impact over me because it was one of the last films I watched with my dad before he passed away, then while we were watching the movie together, he taught me about what life was like through Russell Crowe's character and that's why these kinda movies hits you different when you're mature, sorry if I get emotional when I talk you about this.
12:24 - Thelma & Louise (1991)
15:12 - Black Hawk Down (2001)
Did you really mentioned Gladiator II but NOT Kingdom of Heaven ???
17:10 - Apple Commercial (1984)
18:58 - The Counselor (2013)
The opening scene of Gladiator is one of the most fantastic movie scenes ever! The camera sweeps, the music, Russell Crowe's speech, the scenery. Absolute genius.
20:25 - The Duelists (1977)
23:12 - Legend (1985)
The fact he don’t have black rain on here is criminal it by far is one of the best films he ever made

Most people in these kind of videos: incredibly modest and praise other people
Ridley Scott: Yeah no I'm quite talented.
To be fair: He is.

'When I was watching the martian, I was jus into the half an hour.. And I told myself Mr.Scott definitely drew story board very precise and that's what later he told in the interview. The martian ia a slick.. His vision is bombastic !

Gladiator II was one of the worst films I have seen in a while. Not something to be proud of.

@carlmcgregor2707he should read more, they worked out the roman concrete thing a year or so before this.
@monkeechickenThe guy has made some great, great films. Sadly, it's been a while... and a lot of his recent output is downright bad - Gladiator 2, Napoleon... - his attitude here might be the beginning of an explanation. Never act like you got nothing to prove anymore.
@thomaslabatKingdom of Heaven is my favorite....
@adak2050GENIUS
@TikaMorganDanceBlack Rain underrated
@ChimpuruBlastThis mf is 87
@_strifeI'm a huge BR nerd, and now I'm hearing Ridley say Tyrell is dead? And the one that introduces Rachel to him is a replicant? And the one Roy squeezes the eyes out of is a replicant? Nope. Sorry Ridley, I think you're just making stuff up now. :) Knowing that the real Tyrell is dead, destroys what Roy did to a clone of him in the end. Am I crazy?
@Glowbox3DWhere THE FU is Kingdom of Heaven? The director's cut is better than all of Tarantino's movies combined.
@NomadUrpagihis best movie is kingdom of heaven ...
@shaheen...8620gladiator is the most overrated movie of ALL TIME.
@Ziadibrahim1985I saw "The Duellists" around 1977 and it always stuck with me. I have it on DVD. It's underrated.
@46350dudeOf all Ridley Scott's amazing films... to me, Legend is his magnum opus. There will be no other movie ever like it again.
