Bro waffling. Almost like he is incredibly brilliant that even he can't explain it, he has no clue how he's gotten to where he is or why/how he's held to such high esteem.
Y'all be honest, he sounds too abstract and bogus.
In this interview, Rick Rubin reveals how to make great art, become a better collaborator, and discover ideas floating through the universe.
Hope you enjoy. Please leave a comment if anything resonates.
His book was amazing!! Thanks Rubin

0:01 - How to live a creative life
It's because they're forgetting they are in a business, that business is trying to manufacture and sell real life moments. They can get good at recreating those moments for sale but they can't make what is manufactured equal to genuine real life things. It started as showing others what's out there like when youtube was about sharing video images so the world can see what different people witness, now it's not about showing real life it's about monetizing it and then get faker and faker looking for what sells.

2:34 - How to be a better collaborator
To some , his message will pierce through you in 5 , 10 or 20 years and you will say... that guy was right. He's sharing other dimensional advice for those tho are on that awareness level. We are all learning and traveling through time and space, nothing in this reality is a linear growth evolution. Everything is happening now and everywhere all the time.

@CosmoGiansantiThis is beautiful. I don't get the hate on this man. Might be fear to the thruth. To the unknown. Bravo wise bearded man.
@tvonmuteYour videos always stand out because of the originality and impressive editing online regularly.
@BaverHaubenStop the weed genius! Creativity is repetition. Idiot Joe and his bros.
@noOnieyaJoe Rogan is not funny, i dont know anyone that looks at rogan as a comedian
@TECH_RASWhy was his Metallica album crap if he so good
@khaleefclarke7735The most overated producer in the world oh yeh and fake
@khaleefclarke7735“How you see the world, different from how everyone else sees the world; that’s why your an artist”
Unfortunately with people glued to social media, a lot of people can’t grow into their true unique selves naturally.
Fantastic video, really appreciate your effort!
@AgnetaKavacompleteky agree w everythign he said
@robinchatterjee1519Crying bc I have no work ethic
@wontonnoodles23Work is the prayer of the body,
Prayer is the work of the soul.
Surfing the middle point. From survival to collaboration.
He’s a handler
@oneobjective5448As Bobby Lee would say: there's a lot of things I didn't learn from this conversation....
@soynicolacosta"If you start a business, make it the best business it could be..." Well no shit Capt. Obvious.... He literally said nothing intelligent and all the peasants oh here think he said something amazing. Idiots
@capt.saveahoe914For such a time as this!
@Raymond-q4frubin doesn't create anything hes just a jew who is connected and people go to him to make their shitty song play on the radio
@austin33785Step one: only work with talented artists and attach your name to their work.
@mudmedici like how he connects his advice with the flow of the world and universe
@dirtyymonclerNeeded this today.
@3rdEchoSoundsHe isn't even creative himself. He's not a creative. I don't take pronouncements about how to be creative from a guy who isn't creative. It's like a janitor giving medical advice.
@rhizomorph-musicBro can't play a G chord
@MehehehehehehehThis dude is the Steve Jobs of the music industry.
@jackbombay1423It helps to be an intel asset like Ricky here
@Bill-Hicks_ciggyi am not rick rubin but my tip is this, dont limit yourself in terms of telling yourself what creative is as if it's anything other than creating something, so do that, it doesn't mean you have to have some grand vision or idea of what it is supposed to be before you start, just do stuff and see how it turns out ,and if it turns out shit that's fine so long as you come back and try another time, the more you exercise doing this the easier it becomes and the more possibilities seem to appear, ymmv, some people dont seem to have the same self imposed limitations that i suffer from, maybe they just worked harder to overcome them
@RandomTipsAndStuffRick Rubin is a legend, yet, his 'advice' and book on creativity is generic. He's saying things that all dedicated creatives already know through trial and error.
There's nothing new here. Another old-head trying to hold on to his status.😮
I would also add I laugh when I hear something "expected" in addition to "unexpected" Righteous Bro
@davefox4535Joe is fuckn stoned
@guylayman9298You need oilpaint and canvas
@gabortoth671Joe Rogan still afraid of having David Icke on his show👀
@atmafrequencyЯ не понял половины, но пиздец вдохновлен
@SpaceCowboyPLOwhat does he actually know how to do ?
@castorkat4868I wanted Rick to pull his hoodie back over his shoulder and then it just happened. I love listening to Rick, the self validation of feeling in tune and on track is empowering 🤘🏼💪🏼😎❤️👊🏼
@cellardoormooncrow3703Professional artist, musician and game developer here (20 years).
The only thing he said i disagree with is "follow your passion".
Do not do this, you're not wise enough. Judiciously follow opportunity, and be open to what success looks like. Just like creating art, follow the opportunity marks create for you.
"so like, make yourself into an intelligence asset"
@Quickmart4Be born in the 50's. Be weird, and get lucky.
@ponyboyack00He’s done nothing.
@killemall69bro is trippin so bad
@norbertbrilliant8548Just by looking at him you know this man is in a league of his own and that there's no drug he hasn't tried, a genius misunderstood by at least the OMS, a master like few others, a role model
@0zGTthis guy is super inspirational, i wonder where he got his wisdom from
@UniqueWithinJoe in the background stroking his pineal gland: "yeah.."😩😤😮💨
@IsaiahCoffey-g1eI appreciate that he seems to acknowledge the luck involved in his success, he doesn't fall into the rhetoric you often hear from successful people that they did this that or the other, or they have some innate talent. He strikes me as modest but realistic about his abilities and his thoughts.
