Jos was a hard teacher, it pushed Max to the limits as a kid and it has benefitted him as and adult. While that might not always have sat well with Max at a younger age, Max also knows that Jos has dedicated his entire life to Max.
The money spend, the hours given, even Jos' relationship. Jos sacrificed everything to get Max to that top step. He believed in his son and did everything possible to get him to become world champ. Its been a journey together, thats why their bond is so strong.

Can you just stop speculating about the 'horrible' childhood of Max, blowing it up as English do is bullshit. Max did not have a bad childhood at all! Jos did not bully Max, you think you know Jos but you know shit mate

Ohhhh Dear.... another ass licking Max fan boi being interviewed. Max is a spoiled BRAT and wants all the attention and everything to focus on him. Remember when he didn't let Perez get by to get the points to beat Leclerc even thought he had already won the WDC. YEAH!
0:00 Introduction/Trailer
4:15 The scale of operations at the Red Bull factory
Itâs pronounced âChrischenâ not âChristeeyanâ
8:50 Max Verstappen off-track vs behind the wheel

Not much happened then really. Everyone's a nice guy by the sounds of it! Kind of not what it looked like from outside RBR.
18:15 Helmut Marko: the architect and the villain
23:40 Christian Hornerâs leadership during the 2025 crisis
Interviewers should do more listening to their guests than listening to themselves.

33:25 The high-pressure world of F1 strategy
You misrepresented the story about Jos leaving Max at the side of the road. He left him at a petrol station, knowing his mum was travelling close behind them and could pick him up, so he wasn't left to walk home like you said. He then realised what he'd done wasn't right and turned around and got him before his mum got there. And it wasn't because he didn't get a certain position, as you put it. It was because he had done something stupid on track that cost him a championship, and he wouldn't stop talking about it and trying to justify it while Jos was telling him he didn't want to talk about it.
Does that make it OK? No, but there's no need to change the narrative on what both Max and Jos have said happened.
38:50 Internal power politics and broken relationships
43:15 Speculation on Max Verstappenâs future career moves
What a great podcast episode, really interesting to hear about RedBull F1 inside, and I actually think that Max shuld become RedBull F1 team co-owner he is just part of the brand now.

53:10 Why the second seat is the hardest job in F1
Get Richard Hammond on here, and don't ask him the same questions as everyone else does!

Dude.. Elon and Erol is not even close to being similar.. Erol is a psychopath and that is a rotten relationship. Jos and Max is the opposite.

That was a fantastic interview. I don't know the guy but he gave us some insight that we would never have got from anyone else.
@zoomerzoomer-jn7rfInteresting interview, I've warmed to Max in the last year but won't ever forget 2021 so it doesn't count for me and I know others will say get over it etc etc and maybe I should but sadly Max's first championship will always be tainted. If only he'd refused it, now that would have been the making of a man
@woofywoo1263The dealer is looking after the children.......the usual low IQ.
@Bob45454Very good interview, good questions and great inside story's
I ordered the book, nice to read on holiday
Max ain't leaving Red bull, No other team on the grid would allow Max to do what he's doing in GT3 and that will be the main reason he stays imo
@AaronMartin71937:38 I call it childish.
@Hunter-NGDozens of very good questions, how much time did you put into them? Top guest too.
