E Long is not a saolin fighter originally He is a Ushu kungfu fighter.

Yi Long is not a shou Lin trained fighter according to those in the shou Lin schools. He seems to have picked up a lot of skills in a similar fashion! He is an amazing fighter. 🤷🏽

You seem unable to distinguish kung fu from taekwondo. Those highly skilled kicking techniques are characteristic of taekwondo, not kung fu. Kung fu generally does not emphasize kicking as much as taekwondo does.

Really tired of all the China vs. anyone else, where (of course) China always beats everyone at everything. Nonsense propaganda from the CCp.

The answer is, neither. Neither would win. The superior, disciplined fighter will win a fight regardless of style, which is defending oneself against an attacker (s). Because forms, are fighting more than one opponent coming from more than one direction at the same time. In advanced forms, you would fight up to 8. Sometimes more. Blocking low and high, meaning kicks and strikes.
Who would win? The predominate loss would be the person who attacked initially.
Sparring? Was to show it worked, it was never meant to be a bloodsport or circus. Some Masters and Grand Masters decided to turn it in to tournaments. That was theirs and our decisions. But the modern day gladiatorial games are just that. Bread and Circuses.

I'm not martial artist or fighter, this is just my personal opinion and my logic: Technics and style alone cannot fight, that is why no style and technics is above all. Style and technics need human to make it work, and 1 vs 1 fighter with same style and technics can have diffrent winner, a winner today can lose fight tommorow, its possible, because no matter what martial arts style and technics it all depend on the fighter who use it.

It's not about the martial arts, it's about the mind (words, thoughts, EGO, likes, dislikes, & limited identities), which aren't real anyways. Like Sri Ramana Maharshi said:

"That demon the mind is extremely adept at amorously caressing you with false pretenses, heed this warning from now on: Stay away from that earthly sinful one, without even mentioning its name. The mind is a demon whose embrace brings death to all. It's somehow to seize everyone, and brings them under its spell, it is an extremely cunning trickster, a thief who practices deception. This murderer, this beautiful and seductive one, is a despicable sinner, who's totally ruined the lives of many and aspirant.
It is an evil and lowborn one, who hates and torments your lawfully-wedded one: peace." ~Sri Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi

Many thanks for the videos, in which the winners have been persistent in their style of fighting. The longer you maintain the better. Well, consistency in own ´s fighting style is the key. Paul. 70

Yi Long was like hitting a rock. They eventually just ran out of energy from hitting him so much they would stumble exhausted from beating on him. Then he would knock them out. A ridiculous method, but worked and I am sure resulted in brain damage. Withstanding pain is one thing, but unless he has a skull like a woodpecker his brain was feeling the force of those power shots he could take.

This kind of video is honestly empty. Trying to decide which martial art is “better” completely misses the point and shows a very shallow understanding of what martial arts actually are.

There is no superior art. The only real difference is the person practicing it. A skilled practitioner will always surpass a mediocre one, regardless of the style.

Karate, Wing Chun, Kung Fu and others are not just fighting systems. They are disciplines built on philosophy, culture, and personal development. Reducing them to a simplistic comparison is not only misleading, it is childish.

If the goal is views, fine. But if the goal is to understand martial arts, this approach contributes nothing.

The real question is not which art is better, but who is practicing it and how deeply they understand it.

Before I was allowed to study karate, I had to run 20 kilometers every single day for four years. That relentless discipline forged my endurance and strengthened my willpower. Only in the fifth year did I finally learn two techniques. Ten years have passed since then, and I still know only those two. But they are so devastating that I don’t need anything else. You don’t need a hundred flashy moves—mastering two fundamentals to perfection is more than enough. As Japanese philosophy teaches, Kaizen—continuous improvement through small steps—reveals that true strength comes not from quantity, but from depth. One perfect strike is all it takes to fell a bull.
