I have always been torn about this. If you get there in time to make the rope drop worth it you are still waiting in line for over 30min due to having to wait for it to open. So really at the end of the day it’s saving you 20 min of standby wait time. We have never had an issue doing everything at DCA by 5pm even on very busy days so it’s not like it’s buying you much. However, we always ride RSR’s twice, once during the day and once at night and have never had to rope drop it to get a wait time under an hour and we are still riding things multiple times. Probably something to opening your day at the park with that gem though.
