RABAT - Never expected this AMAZING capital of MOROCCO! (Travel Vlog)
Video Overview & Insights
In this travel vlog I'll show you the real Rabat. The capital city of Morocco is not the biggest on the tourist trail, but certainly has it's charms and was really the biggest surprise of my trip!
Find out what you should NOT do when visiting Morocco and get a lot of practical travel tips and advice here: https://youtu.be/L0myOyg_6ks
I'll show you not just the sights such as the Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Chellah, Kasbah des Oudayas, the Parlement of Morocco, St. Peter's Cathedral, the Medina, Rabat beach and the waterfront, but also around the central areas of the city that you're likely to visit as a tourist and some of the great food you can find there.

What a fantastic vlog! You really captured the serene and aesthetic vibe of Rabat perfectly โจ. As a content creator based in this beautiful city, I'm so happy to see the Kasbah and the Medina shown with such appreciation. Rabat is truly a hidden gem! Great job, Chris! ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ฆ"

About 1.5 seconds after tasting food your eyes light up. That says everything one needs to know how delicious that food is. Iโm a little familiar with Tangier and Marrakech. But next month I will tour Morocco for a full month. Your experiences are extremely helpful. Thank you.

Chris, I love your videos. Your comments are lovely. If a place is run down or not very nice, your acknowledge it, then go in search of something more worth your time. What a great attitude. I've been living in Tangier on and off for a year and your videos are helping me decide where to go next. Thank you so much.

Hi Chris, compliments on your videos, I really enjoy them!
Iโm a street photographer living in London and in March Iโm going for a week in Marrakech. Iโve heard that sometimes people can be a bit hostile if they notice theyโre being photographed, or may ask for money. I always try to be very respectful, quiet and discreet when I shoot, but I was wondering what your honest opinion is. If Iโm travelling alone for a week, do you think a city like Rabat or Fez might be a better option for street photography, with people being a bit less confrontational? Iโd really appreciate your thoughts. Thanks again for the great content.

We will be visiting Rabat this November as well as Casablanca and Agadir. Have you ever been to the Jewish Museum at all? I believe its in Casablanca and the only one in a muslim country around the world. Curious if youve seen it? Thanks Chris

HELLO CHRIS - The reason the fridge is on wheels is to allow you to easily move it but mainly to protect the fridge from water damage when floors are washed

@middlepykeI'm puzzled by your choice of accomodation location
@spoofy9634The Moroccan people are the most generous people in the world, I didn't expect this , they welcome you into their homes by eating and drinking for FREE, are there people like this, Morocco is very beautiful with its charming weather, excellent food and ancient culture I loved Morocco very much, I studied there for four years , it was one of the best days of my life, and last summer I ุ
@Dolmir-c5zOld graves by/on the beach is actually a very common thing around the world - sunbathing and spending time on the beach is only a thing of the modern era. In previous centuries people had no use for beaches, as they are not arable land, so instead of creating cemeteries on good fertile land inland they would put them along a beach, or on the beach in some instances, to make use of otherwise useless space.
@georgimihov2690It looks better than Europe

@NickvainUSAWelcome broer ๐
@mountainsahbar2448As a Moroccan, I'm glad that you loved Rabat, but just so you know, we normally eat the food with the bread, not the fork. And the best bit is you only get the tips of 3 fingers messy!
@asmaao3627when you go to eat Prices would be a bonus-
@asitis4826You sound miserable, cheer up.
@O-oo3uuTwo days is eunght
@svetlanavasicEverything is on wheels for cleaning. Easier to mop those tile floors with everything out of the way.
@sirenwerksNever expected what? If the fridge and everything is on wheels it's easier to move to clean behind. Great idea, actually.
