14:05 interesting fact, Jewish people have the highest rate of having mental illnesses such as anxiety, depression, and in some cases PTSD. There's been studies that have shown that you can actually develope genetic dispositions for certain mental health illnesses due to generational hardships, distraught, and catastrophes

Honestly that definition of a psychologist makes me question this guy’s seriousness and/or knowledge. A psychologist is a trained professional that uses well documented knowledge and methods to change the way you think, feel and act in the world. He’s not someone you go to if you “need to talk to somebody”.
Also saying that that somebody could be either a psychologist or a psychiatrist is deeply unprofessional, as it infers that a psychiatrist could to everything a psychologist does, which is simply false. A psychologist’s training is just as long as a psychiatrist’s training, but in a different field.

I see lmao there is something seriously wrong with people like this I can relate because being hyper aware makes my left eye not want to blink so I don't miss certain things probably due to the high amount of abuse I experienced as a child and the amount of life and death situations I been in my life lmao

Very few psychiatrists do therapy these days. Prescribing drugs tends to pay more. A 15-minute med check allows one to see more patients than a 45 or 50 minute talk session. Psychiatrists don't have the same intense supervised training for delivering therapy, either. In some group practices, you might see both. Licensed Clinical Social Workers may be helpful for problems with living that might create unhappiness but don't extend to an inability to function.
