I’m sorry, but who the hell actually wants to buy a home?
I grew up with a landlord home maintenance is atrocious. It’s beyond a nightmare.
Almost all homebuyers either fall into two categories.
They buy the home stay there a year going by a new home.
Or
They buy the home and fail and lose the house and in the back and renting.
Just rent.
If something goes wrong in your rental, the landlord has to fix it. You don’t have to. The landlord will most likely have the money and the funds because they have a bank behind them.
Don’t buy a house…

As a Native Angelino, I'm passionate about helping people every day learn about and move to this city that I call home.
For those relocating, buying second homes, investment properties, and even first time home buyers, our team would love to connect with you and point you in the right direction to find the home that best fits your needs.
Would this be a viable option for a family with teenage children?

Nah, nothing like living in west L.A. Got everything you need in life.
@362chopI grew up in Hollywood it's a shame now with crime and homelessness, you should have seen it in the 80's
@felixluna914Stayed at the Chateau and walked all over WeHo during a 2 week stay last year ( minus a few nights, as drove to Carmel & PS ) … Loved every freakin’ second of it…Can’t wait to return.. 😊…(a brit living in France)…
@hotrebelvintageNice video….do people contact you here to help them with real estate and how many leads do you generate from your channel?
@biggooseadventuresive been to west hollywood and i love it, i was there for the pride and its very pricy
@babyjoe86Nowadays one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Los Angeles nowadays. I love it but a lot of gay people were forced out by gentrification.
@FacelessDEPeople say LA is going down. Do you still recommend going? (Never been to CA)

@pacerintlWeho hear I come! ❤
@pretty-awkwardPro : Friendly and cool people
Con : Be prepared to be the least attractive person if you don't look like a super model 😅
Musso Franks is in Hollywood.
@pjangels609I live in Boston and have been planning to relocate to LA for about a year now to build out my podcast and coaching business. I'd like to build my network in LA to help enhance my podcast and get guests on that are in entertainment. I'm interested to hear people's opinions on whether it's worth the move to LA for this reason?
@jaycarter4682The cons far out weigh any pro's. It's ground-zero for all the creepiest people in LA.
@hamshipey4279I moved there in 1983 and moved away in 2006. Loved growing up there. I’ve seen lots of changes over the years.
@markharkey2480How is people being out and about when you go outside a con? Sounds a lot more pleasant than driving through miles of lifeless suburbia 😊

@stuartlee6622Hey Darren! Need to relocate in West Hollywood for 68 days October 8th. Trying to find the best place to stay (air bnb). My budget is around 4500$/month or 160$/night. I will have an office/recording studio in the Solotech Building. I'm a composer/music Director for companies like Cirque du Soleil and my girlfriend, who will come 2 weeks/month, is an architect. Any suggestions Darren? She LOVES hip places and especially, beautiful places to walk to for markets and restaurants. Thanks a lot.
@hugomontecristo7518$2,200.00 a month for an apartment? $15.00 for a sandwich? I would have to make $100k a year to live comfortably. I’m sorry, it’s a nice place to visit, but I’d rather make $100k and live in area where the cost of living is much better on my income.
@nightowl5475If you like over crowded, over priced, over rated then Hollywood is great.
@dickjones8119Just moved here thanks for your help
@Zeebaby87Live in weho and love it. You neglected to mention the diversity of the town and predominant demographic is LGBTQ. A big con to weho (as with much of LA county) is it’s homeless crisis and many people with dogs fail to pick up their poop.
@bajanboinoho5378great video Darren
@mikemclane8821I’d it possible to live in Weho and not be gay? I love the weather
@RisingSun963Is there anywhere as clean as Weho that’s not as gay? (Nothing against gays but the pedophillia flag makes me wanna throw up) don’t wanna see drags at the library confusing my nieces and nephews 🤢
@RisingSun963You need to get out more😂. The entertainment capital of the world is Vegas.
@sugarkitti3051We’ve just booked a few nights to stay in West Hollywood on vacation later this year, and I can’t wait. The location looks excellent - if anyone reading this comment has any local recommendations, pleeeeease let me know with a reply to this comment! ❤😊
@FraserAtSeaInteresting, thank you!
@williamlarson275Only Cons traffic 😂
@makymakvrchatWhat type of salary would you need to make to live comfortably alone here?
@caseclosed2519I lived in Weho for about 7 years. I really did walk everywhere, it was great. I miss parts of it, but I wouldn’t live there again as it felt very landlocked to me when I wanted to go anywhere else in LA or OC.
@itsgrantsrantsPlanning to move to West Hollywood in the summer. Your video was helpful. Thank you 😊
@nancyacefitandfeminineDoes the City of West Hollywood have a reputation for being well managed?
@charleshamilton9274I lived in West Hollywood back in the 70's and 80s. You can go over the hill (as we used to say)by Benedict Canyon and Coldwater Canyon. Not just Laurel Canyon.
@tonyt7372I miss it, loved West Hollywood.
@pameladeleone135I remember the 80s when West Hollywood was full of starving comics and heavy metal bands. The city gradually became more and more unaffordable. It's a nice town and very well managed, but very expensive. Yes, it's very crowded for its size, and it gets more crowded when there's an event going on, like every Friday and Saturday night. All and all, a good city but not cheap and not perfect.
@angusorvid8840This whole video I'm waiting for you to mention the homeless people...
@VJ4rawr2Pride💜💚🌈😘🏳️🌈🌈🏳️🌈🌈🏳️🌈🌈
@princeerick11I grew up in LA in the 90s. LA is too much for me now.
@Stefanbites85If you want wonky light switches he got you
@Mikesb3Yo what's that weird looking building??.))))😄😄😄👍👍👍
@vladb6090Weho is for the they thems and meth head street walkers
@Herefortoday01I heard if you live in West Hollywood your car insurance (for full coverage) can be over 200 +. monthly.
@CR-dy9fwWhat would be an alternative to West Hollywood in LA that is somewhat more affordable, has low crime rates, is vibrantly gay friendly, has a great city/nature balance and offers plenty of jobs in the tech/marketing industry?
