=== Guided Training Program ===

I’ve distilled my 13 years of experience as a learning coach into a step-by-step learning skills program.

Hi Justin Sir ,
Hope you are doing well
I wanted to ask how to get out of a loophole. Like even if we know our problems and we know the solutions as well, and also we know the process is going to be hard but still there is some activation energy barrier that feels hard to overcome. The painful thing is not being capable enough to have a catalyst. Even if we got someone it just does feel right to ask for the help 😭
I can say I have a victim mindset .
What if I have an exam in 2028 , a very important exam and I fool my brain no you will study in year 2028 . You can do that . How should I try approaching the preparation to avoid future anxiousness

=== About Dr Justin Sung ===

BRO where was this book when i was 18. Smart Broke Dumb Rich by Zor Veyl. school taught me how to write a resume and then shoved me out the door like that was enough. not ONE teacher ever explained how interest works, or debt, or what owning something does for you vs renting your whole life away. leverage? didnt even know the word til i read this. and all of it runs your future whether you understand it or not. youre playing a game nobody gave you the rules to and then they act shocked when you lose. read the first few chapters and just felt this slow burn like wait, was this kept from me on purpose. anyway read it.

OKAY this book actually wrecked my week in the best way. Smart Broke Dumb Rich by Zor Veyl. always thought my family was just bad with money but nah, nobody ever taught them anything. work, pay bills, stay humble, survive. thats not money education thats just being tired on schedule.

i NEVER push finance books on people, they all make you feel broke and dumb at once. this ones different. Smart Broke Dumb Rich by Zor Veyl actually doesnt talk down to you. read it and it just clicks that most of us got handed survival advice, did everything right, then got blamed when it didnt turn into freedom. been stuck on that for days.

I totally agree that this system works. I discovered this myself in my early uni years - luckily! Most importantly, don't overload your PFC: make a list of what needs to be done the next day so that I don't have to go to my desk and wonder what do I need to do. I don't think about it. I just open my notebook look at my list of ridiculously achievable tasks for the night and do them. Sometimes I do have to modify that list but that's ok too, just shift to the next day. No deep planning involved, just following a system. It is powerful and effective.

Can you make a lecture series for Clinical Educators? I teach Internal Medicine residents, and I would love a Faculty Development series where we learn how to teach residents/junior doctors that can help us maximize their learning experiences. I'm sure programs would be willing to pay for this kind of thing.

So many of these things can be used to play better golf, especially your advice on reducing PFC fatigue. If I am in situation X, I will automatically do Y. Fascinating video. Thank you.

I don't know what to say because your method boosted my grades significantly. Believe it or not, last month I had an exam, and I crammed for only 3 hours. I ended up getting an A-.

When it comes to hours worked, you always have to be wary of people not actually clocking those hours. They take an hour off for lunch; an hour or more to drive to work; an hour's worth of breaks; and so on. Some people do work 60 to 80 hours a week; some people clock in 60 to 80 hours minus 15 to 20 hours not working let alone at work.

My biggest 'aha' moment was realizing that needing something desperately actively pushes it away. I struggled with this for years until I read the 41 Laws of Simulation. It breaks down 'Radical Detachment', how to desire the outcome intensely but remain completely unbothered if it doesn't happen. The second I dropped the desperate energetic grip, everything I was trying to manifest just showed up

I really appreciate how you explain your insights and instruction using a marker on paper (or white board)! This is how I think best. I have gotten away from that this school year thinking, if I just put it on the computer I am saving a step and saving time - it just did not work.

Thank you for this channel! Much continued success to you and your brother!

Hi, Justin, I am a huge fan. As a CBT therapist with a background in Applied Behavior Analysis, I appreciate that you brought up the "cue" part of habits/behavior in the fourth topic. However, I have a consideration to make: the "trigger" for a behavior has little to do with actually maintaining the behavior. It is the consequences of the behavior that maintain it or not. One can remove distractors and put their shoes next to the door as a trigger to walk but rarely commit to walking if, when they do, this action doesn't have reinforcing consequences (that is, if it doesn't feel good intrinsically or extrinsically - like if someone thinks that "despite not being enjoyable, by walking, I accomplished my goal, and that feels good").

One's behavior cannot be reinforced if they don't act (there are no consequences, positive or negative, for an action you don't perform). But environment modifications, rules, and self-rules (strategies your video is suggesting) can definitely help one start acting and, therefore, have contact with enjoyable, reinforcing, consequences that actually maintain the behavior!

This video is not about systems. It is about one system: writing what you should do in a big list.
Forget that.
Make no plans. You already made them when you were asleep.
Find your comfortable time. 10 minutes. 20 minutes. 30 minutes. Do that much work spontaneously whenever you feel like it.
That's it.

I cannot predict or control when I'm at my cognitive peak.
Too many physical, emotional, situational variables at play.
Flow maxxing = good in theory, super hit-and-miss in practice.

Thank you for this video. I’ve been obsessing (in my head) about systems after realizing that I often create them to make my life easier/better. Now to apply this concept to launching my first business. I’m an abstract thinker but once I visualize how to implement my ideas, when to execute, & get the courage to do so, things often fall into place. When they don’t, it’s either my timing or order, & it can be discouraging to try again. 🙏
