Every bass player is a huge fan of Les and the amount of talent that it takes to be able to play the bass and use every style and for the people that don’t know what I’m saying or you don’t play the bass he is using multiple methods popping slapping tapping strumming the only thing he doesn’t use is a guitar pick and when you see him live he plays all of his technical abilities and stays in the pocket and then sings on top of everything and he makes it look effortless when it’s really tough but he’s put in the work and he’s just got that natural god given talent that puts him above and beyond 99% of all the other popular bass players in famous bands so what I’m trying to say is that he is one of the best to ever play the bass

I got to see them when I was 14 at the Orphem theater in Boston. So, 30 years ago.. right up there with seeing tool and Dillinger escape plan live. So thankful, love the funk, they're incredibly unique!

This was my 1st Primus show! It was in Berkeley, CA in October 1993. MIRV and The Melvins opened.
I'm a 6'7" guy in the crowd right in front of Les, but I've never been able to find myself in the video.
