Pricier Than a Batmobile, Makes Even Less Sense - Morgan Aero Supersport

Some cars I love, but when I hear of the price tag, they're soon forgotten about. If, however, this was about a sports car that can be bought for less than say, $50K today, then I'm all ears. Otherwise, I don't care about sports cars only a handful of people can afford... I'm not at all interested in them.

Yes those seats and steering wheel look out of place in such a car,

Concerning the steering wheel I fully agree. It looks quite clumsy in this car.

It's a nice car - but I think it doesn't reach the crazy elegance of the Aeromax it was derived from...

The word is not "Sawn" . It should read Sawed off shotgun. The action here is to saw something off , so it is sawed off. The word Sawn could be used in a sentence like " all the barrels have been sawn". If you want to add the word "off" it then becomes "Sawed".

I saw one of these morgan cars in NJ. The sound of it was phenomenal. It almost sounded like a pro mod. The car was also a unique sight. I have never seen a car with that much appeal. It was weird and sexy all in one.

I have driven a couple of Caterhans, they are in a different league to the Morgan in terms of performance and handling, absolutely fantastic. But, the thing is, I got to the age where I just looked silly climbing in and out of low slung sports cars, also I wanted to have a hard top roof. This is why I bought my SuperSports, it is perfect for me. Jack was great on the day so if you have an interesting car for him to review then I recommend you go for it.

I mean it looks like a caterham that you can get for a quarter of the price.

yep...fantastic "car" morgan turned out there.....but not for me though....a bit more traditional +8 would make me happier....

For those who say oh it has BMW engine blah blah. Think how much cost to develop such limited car. If they had to develop own engine, good reliable engine, the selling price was skyrocketed, probably 300k and more. BMW good choice, technically advanced, good specs, tested in large numbers, reliable and parts widely available. For me Morgan is like analog, limited, quality watch. You can buy technology advanced Garmin, Apple and so on. They have much more options, functions but you can buy it in every corner, every year new models and millions of it. Everyone has it. It’s like Aero8 vs m3, 911, rs4, amg and so on. Aero is about style, handcraft and analog, value feel. There is not much cars after 10, 15, 20 years costing more than was new. And this is the best indicator how good and successful car is. Morgan ❤

I've never seen interior of MacLaren or Ferrari as beautiful as this one. Plastic-carbon disaster compared to this beauty? No chance. How much you can drive this car? Somebody buys Ferrari and it is almost never going to make it to the streets due to the value drop. "Car" not built to be driven is not a car. It is investment object.
Frankly - I wander whether Morgan is going to build something like this but in more classic roadster style - flatter rear with i.e spare tire outside together with some additional outer case for luggage or tools

To be honest the Aeromax is a beauty, this car shown, is as ugly as a Morgan can be and the seats look like artificial leather,a shape, which does not go with the car and as cheap as in a Dacia Duster. The car may be better concerning chassis and technology, but it is a combination of disharmonies in design!

I love the way Brit’s dog is Americans for building ridiculous cars like Vipers and such. Yet they have things like this. Not to mention the TVR insanity 😂. Cool car 🫡

I love sport cars and have owned many low-end ones (Bmw 2002(best!), Fiat Spider, GT6, TR6, Alfa .. but I have not yet found a 2-seater at any price that will fit my 6'4" frame comfortably.
( ...and I have back issues and need to have the seat leaned back a bit past the normal seating)
I was excited when Mercedes came out with their AMG CLK and I was serious to buy one .. until the test drive. Even the SLK series was too tight for me .
Other brands, BMW, AUDI, McLaren, Porsch ..etc just don't have a roomy sports car.
(What 2-seaters do Pro-Basketball player's drive ?)

I have a E55 AMG which I can put the seat back. Its supposedly a 4-seater (good only if your transporting amputated Dwarves in the back)
