I know stuff happens but if I was fortunate enough to have a pool I would definitely keep it maintained so I could enjoy it.

Had a pool for 21 years, went through this process, not always green but way too many times, I hated doing it at the end. Along with equipment issues, Gunite cracks, stone and calcium issues, coping issues, decking, My favorite time was when I sold the house and moved into a neighborhood with a community pool.
