@YourAashiquePocket rockets for the win!
@brentp201So a higher pair beats a lower pair, but if you have two pairs, would another player need both other pairs to be higher? For example, would 2,2, Jack, Jack beat 3,3, 10,10? Thanks
@RB-nm3ko"...only if you are JAMES BOND" is funny

@SebastianCovarrubiashuertaDon’t really understand this I’m trying to understand how it’s a good hand based off the card that I have or the number supposed to match the supposed to match this isn’t really that hopeful, but that could just be me. Maybe I’m just watching long video but this is the first thing that pull up.
@adadoug25thank u for the info it helped me alot.
@HM_TwizlerWho will win ace to five vs 2 to six??
@viccanon9434Thank you Poker Stars for helping me get started with my poker journey. The advice of only playing the “Strong Hands” has really elevated my confidence while playing. It also seems to be a piece of advice most players, of all different skill levels, agree with!
@PurveyorOfKindness"which cards to play?" doesn't matter really! Everything you said here is right but it's only right at the right time, right situation, and right opponent. There are no similar situations in real life where one strategy fits for all ie "which cards to play".
Imagine you're sitting at a poker table where you could see all other players' hands. What'd happen? You'd make all the right move definitely!
You will bluff when opp. has a weak or marginal hand. You'll fold when they have a strong hand. Basically, you will do everything right no brainer since you saw their hands!
But of course, there's no such thing unless you are cheating and you have a whole crew behind to accomplice this. !
The good news is you can get many clues at the table if you pay enough attention to other players styles, their action, previous & current move and how much, the pot size, the position etc...
With these clues you can put together for a pretty good idea of what they have that will help you to make the right move!
A big mistake in many players is that we're too busy paying attention to our own hands and forgotten about the opponents' hands are what matter. And we're making moves that according to our hand's value. This is a biggest mistake where we reveal too much info. to other players. So, make sure you don't play by hand's value and don't pay attention to your own hand, after all you already know exactly what you have. And remember, every chip you put in the pot is not yours anymore. So, don't be afraid of losing. When you are convinced of what they have you must go for it, do whatever it takes to win. I know this sounds easy but it's not when you are sitting at the table, playing with your own money, making new & uncomfortable moves. It'd take time to get used to the change. Make sure you understand that it's all in the mind-set. Keep on working at it you will adapt to the changes & improve in no time! It's a process that is not happened over night but once you got it you'll become a difference player. The most important thing is you must trust yourself 100% even when you lose a hand. You can't be right all the time and more likely you'll be wrong at first.
It's a learning curve of a new game's philosophy. It'll take time to adapt. Don't give up & good luck!
Do you have influence
@huseyinalpakthank you
@sedayuksel891How do you deal with variance and downswings in your poker career?
@caziyenurakin5780What is the most important skill for a poker player to develop in order to be successful in the long run?

@bmanscireHi, the links "guides" links" have expired
@luissan8422Im hear to learn for Balatro
@hark9447Your link in the description does not work
@hameebnulkarib1114I misunderstood the playing looser and tighter. I just did a tournament and got eleminated rather fast i played loose and agressive when i should have just played the right hands when i have something good. A KQ offsuit doesnt help if you raise and bluff on nothing so yes i learned my lesson
@swart121The comments section here is usually insightful too (or hilarious).
@HotSuperAMCThen your opponents flop 65 suited with straight draws
@potatopoison1130Passive income is a nice passive income stream.
@HotSuperAMCthank you now i can player the right card in the right position
@GlenMorssSometimes there are exceptions to this rule since one time it’s been folded to the blinds and the blinds had K,3 off suit and Q, 5 offsuit!
It’s pretty funny to see both player limping in and the flop comes 8,5,3 action went check check turn was a K! Person with the K betted half the pot and the person with the pair of fives called since the blind could have a wide range including bluffs! The river was the gin 5!!!! Action went bet half pot raise and then the person with the pair of kings even though he was counterfeited was a fish and called!!!!
Person showed the Q,5 and the losing player mucked! And everyone in the table was like WOAH I CANT BELIEVE EVERYONE LET A TRASH HAND GOT THERE ON THE RIVER!!!
Since the Q,5 was the last to act preflop and that player even said I would have folded if someone put in any raise but no one did so might as well play a garbage hand!!!
Poker can seem challenging, but the key to mastering it is starting with the right resources. Watching tutorials, enrolling in poker courses, and reading ebooks such as the "74 Rules of Poker" will set you on the right path. Focus on learning both the fundamentals and advanced techniques, then hit the tables. With this foundation, you'll increase your odds of success.
@SnowboardingPlanetBut only if u james bond 😂 really how i feel after a good win
