PLEASE BE GOOD!! A New Star Trek Survival Base Building Game that's About Building Outposts! YES!!!

Did you know Star Trek Law doesn't exist, as it was all made up, I mean wow Klingons are not real!??? I have watched every single (OK about 90-95%) of all and every Star Trek. But Yeah it's not real! I am still trying to work out how to make a warp capable ship so I can go investigate those black holes, that no one can see or explain since well, you can't see them. But all in good time, I am sure if I live for another 500-1 billion years I will work something out. Yep. (Personally I think if they exist black holes are new big bangs. Once everything gets kaploped into nothing they get thrown out into a new something, since a black hole can't really just keep holding all those teddy bears and grog otherwise it will just be stealing them right. I know you doubt my logic, but I know its right because I just know its right even if I am wrong. Take care all. Hopefully you don't make a black hole in your backyard that might eat up the planet, or universe.

Star trek games are just a repeating disappointment

this is less a survival game and more of a rts/city builder game I'm somewhat disapointed but not suprised, Yes, I intially missed the word building in the title, my bad...

A planetary outpost? A shame that it's not in space, where you can mine and haul asteroids and auto-settle planets...

It doesn't matter how good the game is going to be, if the dialogue is not voiced its a big nogo for me nowaday. I have done my fair share of reading in games the last 40 years and i don't mind reading menus etc etc but when alot of dialogues also are just heaps of text it is a hard pass. If I want to read , I will grab a book.
Sure hope it will be released in early acces WITH voice over dialogues, i dont even care if they use crappy Ai for it. Just do it.

well if ya notice the Alpha team is the DEI hire of star trek its all females. given that there are only two genders per the facts of life. Every pick the Beta team. its the stronger team. even with the naming the reprobates gave them. just for this cause the game is defiantly not worth giving them money.

It’s a cool idea but they need to work on “mechanics” - how the game plays.. it’s a bit early 2000s. Needs to be more organic and more interactive. Too many buildings and they are very large and the map looks super constraint. I like the buildings being proportionate to the people in scale. However, reduce their size to the terrain so you can fit more buildings between the mountains..

This is an attempt to rip off Stranded: Alien Dawn. While it is fine to use their concepts in another universe/scenario, this scenario where there is a planned outpost to set up doesn't work for the reasons that many have already commented on. In Stranded, the crew is exactly that. Crash landed. No ship in space to spend the night in. No transporter with which to move things around with. The player also has control of which crew is assigned to what job types and the priority of that job type to each crew member. The developers could fix a lot of the conceptual problems by having the crew also crash land here. Or they could envision how a real outpost in Star Trek would be set up ie sleeping in the space ship and using the transporter to move things. As it is, it appears to be inspired by Stranded but not thought out in term of concepts and game play for a non-crash landed Star Trek universe.
