Thank you for allowing me to revel in this 12 minute pastiche of one of the most enjoyable and romantic series that I have seen in many decades. Even my wife loved it‼️

This series has the best romance since 1995’s “Pride and Prejudice,” and I guess that there is much more to come in the multi volume series about the Lancaster family.

The casting is absolutely superlative‼️😍. Persephone makes everyone who looks at her fall in love with her. She portrays a noble soul so beautifully and so romantically‼️❤️. She just charmed my socks off, and Adam does the same for the ladies as a deeply wounded but honorable man who just needs a good woman to prove to him that life is worth living and that love can be had, even for a rough-edged, disfigured rogue like him‼️

this needs a bigger story, the siblings and father i really wanted to see more of them. also a bigger budget but still a good movie, great acting! great job :)

Great actors in this loveable movie. They play their parts as if they are the characters. It drew me right into the movie. Im in high hopes of another season or two or three or four. I love this movie.

The actor who played Harry was in the UK soap series, East Enders (he played a baddie!). Nice to see him in a different and goodie role.

It is impressive that this series was shot in 20 days--and yes, acting is excellent! Accents are also excellent given both main characters are Americans!

This series also reminds me of North and South with Richard Armitage and Daniela Denby-Ashe which is my all time favorite non-Jane Austen story (written by Elizabeth Gaskell).

Do they ever consummate there marriage ? I hope they a second season

My wife and I watched this over the weekend. What a heart-warming and wholesome tale of reluctant love and such exemplary casting. Jake Stormoen as the angry, wounded Duke, carrying the weight of his past and the expectations of conventions and society at the time, slowly being won over by the radiant Ryann Bailey, herself falling for her dark and brooding husband. Not usually a fan of period drama, especially romance, but absolutely adored their tale and told in such a chaste manner too. Goes to show you don't need smut to make a compelling love story (hi Bridgerton!). My respect to all the cast & crew on a job very well done.

This was a total snore.

I loved this miniseries but I need to read the book because there are so many unanswered questions about this story. Sorry for the spoilers but how could the father that is clearly suffering for Alzheimer’s or dementia handle running an estate worth over 100,000 pounds when he couldn’t lend a hand helping enough to put food on the table?! There was no other male in the house both sons were off in the Navy and the most educated/ responsible daughter was being married off. Did the Duke appoint a trustworthy steward to run the family’s new estate?! Was the father a victor or were they just poor landed gentry that fell on hard times?!

It's nice to see something well made in this day and age.

I've never met a man with that much self-control (willing to be non sexual). Guess that's why it's a fantasy.

So so good. There are audio books for each season/book. One on Persephone, Athena, Daphne, Linus and Atremis. Each have a book about their love story 💕

I love it❤. Most movies are cheating, neglecting loyality, etc, etc. This flim is just encouraging..

These keeps my heart less colder but more warmer.. less painful and some smile...

When is season 2?

I thought the acting really elevated this movie. Overall very impressive results for being shot on half a shoestring budget snd and an unbelievable 20 day film shoot. The costumes were beautiful. Overall a very impressive result.

Loved this show, have watched it several times already!

I was so glad that in the end he was the one to put her hand on his scarred cheek. So many Beauty and the Beast retelling has theBeauty still do it but it is so much better to show the kind of person the Beast becomes because he allows her to see him and accept all of him and not the pieces he slowly allows her to see (not a beauty and the beast story but still similar and beautiful)!
