I made these french fries like exactly what you have told but the fries didn't crispy at all, what's the reason 😢
Detail:
First i washed it thrice until all the starch removed, then i fried it for about 4 to 5 minutes and make them rest till they got completely cool and Re-fry it till golden brown

i think we need a new word for them in the whole world.

In Germany we call the them Pommes which is from Pommes de Terre
So basically (french) apples (from the ground).
