PENN STATION NYC Walking Tour | A Complete Tour Guide Holiday's 2025
Video Overview & Insights
I explore Manhattan's Penn Station and provide a full guided tour.
I'll be taking a 7-hour train ride from Richmond VA to Penn Station July 6th and back home July 9th, I'm excited. My dad and I are going to New York for my birthday trip, my birthday is July 8th and I'll be 26, he takes me places since I can't drive. Back in October, Louis Tomlinson announced presale tickets and dad managed to snatch 2 floor seats section B row 9 seats 6 and 7 for Madison Square Garden, I cried with PURE happiness and been counting down ever since. I never saw Louis in concert for ANY of his solo tours, I'm EXTREMELY excited. I hope he lets me meet him, I made him a special bracelet he can wrap around his wrist twice, I also made a sign, a few other bracelets to hand out, a small portable rechargeable covered blades fan with a built-in battery with 3 different speeds and a small blue round birthday pin with tiny black ruffles around it. I'm NOT a fan walking but my dad HAD to get a hotel that's a 36-minute walk from MSG and a 26-minute walk from Madame Tussauds, he's a big fan of walking a long time but not me. Madame Tussauds is my favorite Wax Museum with celebrity wax figures, the one in London brought back the One Direction wax figures to stay there permanently because last year they were back only for the month of June and the fans, like me, were NOT happy so they're back for good, which makes ME very happy

It's great to see Penn Station looking so vibrant. It seems to be a good mix of travelers and commuters and tourists. It reminds me a little of Vegas, with the lights and the chain restaurants.

The whole establishment is a glitzy dump, by comparison to the REAL old Penn Station. You need to brush up on your history. And why do you pronounce “street” as “shtreet”?

Im watching once again. Next week ill be in the location as our hotel is very close to Penn station. Once again thank you for your video, because of this I decided to take the long island railroad from JFK Airport. At first I was doubtful because of the confusion of Penn station (123,ACE)
@edmac8516Hey there Tom,
thanks a lot for your Walking Videos, I simpel love them ❤ and thanks for your information for travellers in Penn Station 🙋
GREAT video Tom the Station looks amazing !
@WilliamGibson-q7jThank you for the tutorial walk. The post office is like a historical building tour, which it is.
@rexhua4833Great video, Tom. It will be interesting to see which proposal the Administration picks for the redevelopment of Penn. I hope that the Grand Penn Alliance proposal, which moves MSG across the street, wins. It's a stunning proposal and would not only improve Penn dramatically in every respect, but it would dramatically transform the whole area and would SUPERCHARGE development there. This area could go from being the armpit of Manhattan to a hyper-desirable location in a very short time if Grand Penn wins.
@SydneyCarton-sf3mqTom. Can you give us an jerseys city walking tour
@Jon-tp6grI’ve seen this video before. However, watched it again. I watched a slew of videos on Halloween night. I had no idea that NYC does a Halloween parade. It was its 51st year. My favorite was the Thriller zombies.

This walking tour provides a complete guide to Penn Station and the stunning Moynihan Train Hall.
It brilliantly showcases the massive scale and architectural beauty of the new terminal, especially during the 2025 holiday season! 🗽🚂

Outstanding video, Tom! I’ve shared your video on my social. I visit NYC often from NJ. New visitors or those who haven’t in a while are in for a real treat by Penn Station today. And the connection to Moynihan Train Hall is 👌
I’m still trying predict which track my NJ Transit train is arriving on, so I can be first in line. 😂
Very useful, thank's for sharing ❤❤.
