BANGER

— @iimsolihatun

Lyrics (click/tap CC to see subtitles):

Why are you hanging on

Watching this as a man, I must admit it makes me uncomfortable. Not just for the women who have had to endure this, but it makes me second guess all my own actions, and debate if any were abuse.

— @hardiehardley

So tight

To the rope that I’m hanging from

To the women who are still falling for every lie and misinformation at every turn that feminism produces. No, Hedy Lamarr did not invent WiFi. This has been debunked many times.
A man invented WiFi, and your phone, the chair or bed you’re on, the house you’re in, the farmed food in your stomach — literally every privilege around you has a 98% chance it was made by men. So stop being ungrateful and trying to take credit for things women can not do.

— @mojo-c1f

Off this island

This was an escape plan

I heard only girls know the meaning of this whole song Ik it

— @SlayingTheEdits

Carefully timed it

So let me go

I left my ex in January. He harassed me for two months after.

— @Bubbl3s_no1_F4n

And dive into the waves below

Who tends the orchards?

Beautiful accurate depiction of patriarchy ❤

— @tarajoyce3598

Who fixes up the gables

Emotional torture

Modern women go crazy when they don’t get what they want. Even if it means putting aside morals, and even if it hurts others or society.

— @mojo-c1f

From the head of your high table

Who fetches the water

0:53

— @Justaslinky

From the rocky mountain spring

And walk back down again

What is this 😅

— @viqaratiya786

To feel your words and their sharp sting

And I’m getting fucking tired

Screw him and his picket fence dreams.

— @ThreeOfBirds

The capillaries in my eyes are bursting

If our love died, would that be the worst thing?

This song is for all the women in south Asian and middle eastern countries

— @caffeineabuser95

For somebody I thought was my saviour

You sure make me do a whole lot of labour

perpetually single side chick anthem

— @karlmarxsteingoldberg-kike4046

The calloused skin on my hands is cracking

If our love ends, would that be a bad thing?

Why aren’t women going to countries where women don’t have rights to push all this feminist stuff? Why only in countries where women are already equal? I need an explanation.

— @mojo-c1f

And the silence haunts our bed chamber

You make me do too much labour

*"Labour is not just a song... it is a cry and a slap in the face of every man who sees a woman’s effort as something he is entitled to. In the face of those who take without appreciation, who command without gratitude, and who consider her sacrifices a duty not even worthy of a simple thank you. To everyone who says, ‘that’s your job,’ forgetting that behind every tidy home, every cared-for child, and every soul that has been held together... there is a woman who has been silently exhausted. A woman was not created to serve, nor to carry everything alone, nor to be broken and then expected to smile. She is not a maid nor a machine working endlessly, but a human being who deserves love, respect, and appreciation. And whoever sees her effort as something she is obliged to do does not understand the meaning of respect or true manhood; because real manhood is partnership and appreciation, not exploitation and control. And whoever fails to see a woman’s worth is revealing his own lack, not hers."* ❤‍🩹

— @sososim-d2y

Apologies from my tongue

Never yours

We're free!

— @a.k.a.ragebait7

Busy lapping from flowing cup

And stabbing with your fork

I know you’re a smart man

And weaponise

I got away.
It seems like you can’t but you can.
Sending strength 💪🏻🫶🏻🇬🇧.

— @Smashingblouse

The false incompetence

It’s dominance under guise

after years of abuses and assault i finally left him

— @devikadevuuu-r2y5k

If we had a daughter

I’d watch and could not save her

being the oldest I know what it feels like the pressure to be perfect
being the second mother, first to marry and protect everyone before me

— @LeekimJenny

The emotional torture

From the head of your high table

Women were happier when feminism wasn’t around. This is not an opinion. This is literally a fact with sources, data, and evidence that supports it. Do you understand that? This is reality.

— @mojo-c1f

She’d do what you taught her

She’d meet the same cruel fate

Feminism has nothing to do with equal rights. If it did, why are they pushing it so strongly in countries where women are already more privileged than men and already have full equal rights? Why not in the countries where women don’t have rights?

— @mojo-c1f

So now I’ve gotta run

So I can undo this mistake

unfortunately things will only get worse for european women if the left is in power

— @GeeDeeZee10

At least I’ve gotta try

The capillaries in my eyes are bursting

men 🤝 women

having their own struggle

— @GeeDeeZee10

If our love died, would that be the worst thing?

For somebody I thought was my saviour

dont forget: being a mother IS empowering, not oppressive

— @GeeDeeZee10

You sure make me do a whole lot of labour

The calloused skin on my hands is cracking

Going through a divorce

— @Buckaroo1971

If our love ends, would that be a bad thing?

And the silence haunts our bed chamber

The food looks immaculate tho

— @AtL3astImTrying

You make me do too much labour

All day, every day, therapist, mother, maid

If this is true, then she AND Jon need to be held accountable. I feel the same way about Franke’s husband. I didn’t watch nor do I watch any of these family channels. However she was abusing the children in those video clips I’ve seen and he allowed. He was right there for it. Abdicating your parental responsibilities doesn’t make you the good parent. Plus, Kate was the original Karen but so much hate towards her alone feels very misogynistic

— @LexVegas1978

Nymph then virgin, nurse then a servant

Just an appendage, live to attend him

My mother can’t leave him, court won’t let her. And I can’t do anything because I’m a teenager, and court treats us, me and my siblings,
more like property than actual children. Is there even anything i can do?

— @C3RT1F13DPSYCH0

So that he never lifts a finger

24/7 baby machine

I love this song

— @solominkxbox795

So he can live out his picket fence dreams

It’s not an act of love if you make her

My mother wears a burqa, my father does it too, I have to wear a burqa, the burqa is this blue...

This song popped up when I'm feeling the rage boiling under my skin. The women in my family had to do all the work while the men want their ego stroke. My mother always turn a blind eye and gaslight her daughters to save his feelings. And the men always use the "Rule for thee but not for me" at every single thing. I've bend backwards to spare their feelings but never even put a thought in mine unless it benefits them.

A lot of women here should look up the story of Norah Vincent — the woman who tried to live as a man for 18 months and ended up unaliving herself after realizing how much harder men’s lives are and how much she took advantage of that. Her guilt unalived her. Learn from her story.

This song reminds me of when my mom finally realized the abuse of my stepfather , packed only our dearest belongings and fled 6 hours away in the morning while he was asleep. I tried warning her for 3 years but she never listened because she was under manipulation. She met a man online who finally convinced her to run, now we are at his.
He also has anger issues. Once again, she isnt listening to me. Ive been trough this 2 times before. But this time, if he does something in the future, i wont hesitate. A kitchen knife can do wonders.

Me myself it affected me too. I thought healthy relationships are “unhealthy” and i myself was manipulated by both man and woman. I now have a boyfriend whose the opposite of all the men ive met, i’d want to marry him someday, hes incredible and has helped me so much.
