I love that Bruce Wayne has that edgy personality. I think it fits so well with his energy as batman. Makes it seem far more realistic and likely that a person like that would be batman.
@ivankovachev8717chills
@hardlyboiledThis movie is pure art❤
@MegaVSableEven hindi dubbed this opening felt amazing
@shaikhshahebaz6846It was ok just hate that thay made batman new to the game again
@winterWolf-v9eTheatricality and deception...powerful agents to the unitiated...but, then we are initiated, arent we Bruce....😂😂
@christophersermeno8631Ridiculous that they’re recasting Batman again 🤡 Pattinson could carry DC movies for years ‼️🤷♂️
@Joeclone2001I am the night
I am vengeance
I
Am
Batman
The way that the opening lures you into thinking you're seeing through Batman's eyes - except you kinda are, and that's the whole theme of the movie in its very first shot.
@ExileofFyrSorry but what gang doesnt immediately start jumping him as soon as that fight starts?
@LawdyRonAfter he saves the innocent guy, even he is scared of Batman. He is the vengeance - it doesn't matter if you are a criminal or not.
@PriyankChodisettiEpic goosebump intro true superhero
@DjBrave-gt1boThis is how hollywood should make superhero film real art
@DjBrave-gt1bo6 year wait is craaazy.
@Guana02986 year wait is craaazy.
@Guana0298Probably the best depiction of Gotham on screen so far. Such a great intro that really sets the tone.
@Moody3863best batman opening ever after dark knight
@alicewolffgangNice touch having the kid in the ninja costume with his family be a main focal point for Batman in the beginning. it's a small glimpse into what he used to have as a child.
@DormitionIt’s actually incredible that it took this long to so accurately portray what Batman does. Using the shadows that criminals operate in and escape to against them. All the Batman movies before this have like a quick scene or him attacking from them. But what he really does is just add that little bit of fear that he’s there even when he’s not.
Also the whole movie actually showing detective Batman. I’m a huge Batman fan and imo this is the best Batman movie so far.
Be a honest man... you are not here from YouTube recommendations... You are searching to see this masterpiece opening sequence 🙌
@sagarbharthi95It's nice to finally see Doug Walker star in a major Hollywood film.
@Lord_DelroyTurn on subtitles for this scene you will find hidden dialogue. Needs to be the movie not from this video though.
@jdav13Also anyone else think Matt Reeves took inspiration from the Arkham games when showing how criminals fear the darkness? It's obviously in the comics too but seeing that in live action. Just so cool.
@rogueguardianI love that while we have the opening exposition to catch us up on The mindset of this Batman, The first thing we see him do is emerging from the shadows putting a thug into the ground. It's just amazing!
@rogueguardianThis 'Batman' was awful, hated it!
@Rogue_TemplarThis was a really underrated movie
@johnathansturric8998You have more chance to win the Lotto than running into the Batman. But..........That chance is never Zero!
@tarun2449I'M VENGEANCE
@The7legacyBest opening scene I've ever seen in a movie holy shii
@H4ceqGoosebump opening
@eizlandanishvous allez rapidement vous en rendre compte
@jldeshayes3109It’s still the greatest superhero film of all time
@Collin_MayoHere’s a premise for this entire trilogy, if this riddler knew Bruce at a young age, it’d be great if the rest of his rogues from here on out know Bruce from the orphanage that the Wayne’s donated to. After his parents die, he spent some time in that orphanage and had a moment with each of his future rogues, but once each rogue actually see his eyes, face to face, they have a flashback of how they remember him. I think for cinema audiences and comic audiences, this would be a new(for the comics) and interesting storyline that could eventually lead into Arkham Asylum easily. Batman isn’t about killing, but for this universe, he’s about getting his rogues help instead of completely defeating/killing them.
@ellisduportSpiderman brand new day should have an opening like this
@HonestlyTiger-k2t6yTo think we can thank the DCEU for this film
@zackfisher6893My head cannon is that the group of guys vandalizing the bank are an early version of the Anarchy gang.
@Fish-monologueThis movie was an excellent portrayal of fear on par with a child being afraid to look under the bed or open the closet door. The not being afraid of the dark, but being afraid of what’s in the dark
@therealSwaggyBeeso this version of batman is basically Rorschach.
@1stboss1tm77I don’t care what anyone else says. To me, this is the best Batman movie ever made.
The Dark Knight is incredible, no doubt about it, but that movie is really about the Joker, not Batman. Nolan never quite figured out how to fully develop Batman as a character. This movie is different. It’s unapologetically about Batman, and more importantly, about the thing he’s actually best at: being a detective.
5:01 Badass Batman monologue + music starts
@Su..Costume design on Turnip Head is PERFECT. Terrifying in the store, from slightly below, yet terrified from above in the street.
@callumnik117That beat ending that leads to R.P saying BUT I AM THE SHADOWS and the quote itself is so epic !!
