You see, this sounds so interesting--Altman is isolating the CFO! Palace intrigue!--but it's likely way exaggerated. Why? Because the board and the big VC investors will be calling Altman and telling him to play nice or hit the road. Frankly, the best thing OpenAI could do for itself is fire Altman. He's on thin ice, if you ask me.

I have learned that people who use that 2:45 picture of Sam usually don't like him as a person. For a channel I thought to be objective, I am disappointed that you chose that picture

I feel like most of the data
center development itβs for show to create more investment. The centers are near at risk water sources which is odd. Once they have legal ownership of the water we are done for.

Hey Sam Altman? Where is that trillion dollars supposed to come from?
No, seriously. Who is supposed to pay you that? The retail investors? It'd take nearly $3000 from every American citizen to hit that trillion. So, institutional investors? Well then you wouldn't need an IPO. The money has to come from somewhere buddy.

Wow he has really overplucked those eyebrows
@burprobrox9134Open AI has always been a failed venture based on nothing but hype. Itβs clear there are no true business people running the venture. Case in point put a competent business person in there- like a CFO who dares to tell it like it is and is isolated. Altman is noted as a pathological liar and open AI is not the first organisation where this was discovered . Loopt where he conned the numbers and sold. Buyer beware with Altman. The final nail was the red alert. And the suggestion of a government bailout. The whole AI ecosphere is toxic. Whilst Google probably have the best and Gemini is better than chat GPT Google has an existing revenue stream. Open AI doesnβt. Finally models out of China are cheaper. Of course most western organisations will not want to rely on China but Europe is already moving away from American tech and creating their own. The sooner Open AI implodes the better for the AI industry. David S
@davesquidI don't think the 90% of the population is complaining. Only the businesses find any use for it. So yeah, let them suffer.
@DibIrken"Customers revolt" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here β usually when a $157B company's users "revolt," it just means someone posted a strongly-worded tweet and switched back anyway.
@aitoolsparkIt's so silly to measure the use of AI in such a way, it's like the good old "lines of code equals efficiency" bs again. You want solutions to be easy to read and understand, not the longest it can be.
@jannekiljunen6784Musk is right, Altman is a scammer. A lot of people are going to loose a lot of their money. There is open source AI, just as good as Open AI, and commercial users can put it on their own iron, for their own data. Why would they pay for Altman's iron??? And there is another irony, Musk wanted it to be "OPEN SOURCE", hence the moniker. And in the end it will be open source and "free" that kills it. What "use cases" does Open AI have, that there are not less expensive ALTERNATIVES FOR???
@bigpicture3OpenAI in trouble πβ€π΅π΅
@rajadon2071at this point companies should start building their own systems and running their own models locally, you can do whatever you want with the models that way and mint and manage tokens at will, even if your employees may start periodically complaining that the talkbox is slow.
@ladyskinwalkerNo one cared about SpaceX' disastrous IPO filing. Why would anyone care about OpenAI's?
@dan438People are FINALLY seeing that this shit was a scam since day one.
AI is a hoax.
I hope ALL A.I./Data Centers go bankrupt
@hughjaass3787What I find the most surprising part of Sam Altmanβs remark on cost, is that he said he hadnβt heard that before. In at least 2024, Google engineers were publicly about cost being a trend for them to focus on. As lower cost allows you to explore using AI in every product.
If 2026 really is the first time heβs heard cost is an issue, then it suggests OpenAI is behind the curve. I suspect itβs not though.
Creep Alert!
@hblee88"We've seen a big enough of a scam recently by bringing SpaceX to the market, could you wait a lil bit?"
@tonytiger6874Asking questions does still consume a tremendous amount of tokens due to the context window. The heavy users that talk to AI all the time will have a full context window (potentially something like one million tokens) which will be passed through the model alongside the system prompts and the latest question. I point this out because the way you describe it would lead one to believe those real costs only apply to the enterprise but thatβs not true. The basic users are heavily subsidized as well.
@evanmcdonnalI can see OpenAI flame out
@glennmiddleton332418:00 Isn't it so that actually openAI rents computing power, they don't operate
data centers? Like a data-center-less company, analogous to fabless semiconductor
company.
The fabless model turned out to be the best for AMD, NVIDIA and others,
could be similar with openAI .
what the h*ll are you even trying to convey with this way too long a video? bla bla bla bla and zero information regarding your actual video title.19 minutes long because of youtube algos?
@buttpubGrok is dead. Open Ai is next. Anthropic will become part of the US government.
@jvp2916The sound quality is terrible, as if the narrator was speaking through a vacuum cleaner hose.
@gostaknochenhauer3978Donβt know why people are ditching open AI. I use both fable and ChatGPT 5.5 and both are well aware of each others move through my deliberate orchestration, both Fable and ChatGPT 5.5 work well together forcing each other through a consensus to always come up with the right answer.
@CelluloidPoisoningI switched to Claude a few months ago, their product is so much better.
@ddc2343dAI slop talking about AI slop
@Kevin-qz4eqI love that AI is crashing and burning. I am ready to spectate the aftermath, bring it on
@BChandl13wtf
@FreshhVancouveranthropic is weak, is mostly ahead cause many people dislike sam altman
@ElektroKinetikOne of the scary things about using Ai for work is that it's basically a bullshitting machine, and it's accurate most of the time, but if you can think back to the GPT-2 days and what that sounded like, modern models aren't any fundamentally different, just larger and capable of bullshitting at a much higher level (which in most cases surpasses most people's ability to tell the difference.) So I guess that's why bosses like it lmaoo. If you're curious about what GPT-2 sounds like, look up r/SubSimulatorGPT2 and it's younger brother r/SubSimulatorGPT3
@ClewlessClayin 1 year Open AI is going to be worth A LOT LESS.
Sam is an idiot.
Satya Nadella is perfect example of ceo slop, bet he saves a lot of time slopping his job
@markunwin2313Soviet union went bankrupt from space race against US. Now US is going bankrupt from AI race against China providing a lot cheaper models at much cheaper costs. What a pity. A thought from South Korea
@jongbongkim4386If this channel existed in 1995 I think it'd be talking about how useless the internet is and how dumb it is for companies to have websites.
@Scott-j6sI can attest this. I was let to be aware of one, franckly quite neat, LLM based implementation. It was planned out to be rolled out in June, but now it eats all the tokens under a week. Which, by the way, coincides with OpenAI 2x:ing token prices (more like 4x as the consumption/rates for the models went up, too). Result: the project is on ice, at least foreseeable future.
@mikapeltokorpi7671Delusional. A money pit.
@MrCapitalizerAI is now just a commodity, and China's AI token cost is 1/10th OpenAI's and just as good, there is no way to spin that story into an IPO for OpenAI, the ultimate irony is AI is now truly 'Open' haha, hold on to your 401k, its gonna be brutal
@pn2543Butβ¦but..I want a Trillion. I..I deserve it. This isnβt fair. This is so unfair
@mfranssensWow amazing, where can I download openai's code-x?
@jonas1382Letβs face it, the putz needs to disappear
@ewc5816:58 no shit sherlock. Itβs because you jacked up the price
@SH-ly1uyIβm so glad Elon got his product to market first, his mishandling will sink the entire industry.
@LiveByTheNumbersScam altman just another fake ass jbag
@neezydotnetI guess Open AI is a non-profit org after all
@SparSchwabe
