@Cynthia-i4n5eIt was quite clear to me what he was trying to do out on the water. The opening of the movie was a lot like This Quiet Earth, so I knew his intent.
@laurielaurie18602 strangers. One set. Nothing but time and words. Little to lose except their lives. Great dramatic pressure, where even the exposition breeds tension. This is how you let actors loose and the camera becomes our eye. Excellent job all way round.

I wanted to compare this film to Hitchcock's Lifeboat, but there is a different vibe about it.

@groovy4787Have seen it a few days ago. YT-Autoplay serves me same "dinner" every day. -If You haven't seen this one yet: It is a nice one! Not too much action. 2 very different characters are coincidentally on a boat without motor. Hostile in the beginning they don't become friends, more like father and son, the story comes to a surprising end.
