One Drive. One Pipe. A Thousand Questions.

Video Overview & Insights

Todd Kendhammer claimed a pipe flew off a truck, smashed through the windshield, and killed his wife. A freak accident… or was it something far darker?

No Christmas theme this year, but still a goodin’, in my ever so humble opinion! Hope everyone has a great holiday season, and I very much look forward to sharing more cases and stories with you all in ‘26 :)

i think he found a pipe laying in the grass and brought the crime scene to it rather than bringing the pipe to the crime scene

@loveyybugss
@

Is that the pipe leaning up against the witness stand?

@LJSprague
@

I watched this trail and felt from the beginning that this was wrongful prosecution, "until" the ME testified. Dam he killed her. He snapped just like Jeff MacDonald.

@Cosmickitten2012
@

he sounds like bloody muppet, my brain can't register him as an actual person because of the way he talks

@lin-sterling
@

i think the guy was possessed by a demon and the pipe really hit the windshield but it didnt do any real damage and wasnt used as a murder weapon but WAS removed from the windshield

@notfreeman1776
@

Maybe there was a second pipe. The one found was the one that bounced off the windshield and the one that killed her is somewhere else and hasn't been found.

That's the only innocent explanation I can think of.

@blacklilac2788

Why did he do it, though?

@Leatherargento
@

Oof. That drywaller punched a big hole in his story.

What a good cop. What a good police department

God that 911 call…honestly I was fooled. He’s a good actor

So "blades of grass" only existed on that one road on that one day?

@dirkbastardrelief
@

I can GUARANTEE you that If I had a presentation at work where I had to show a pipe rolling off of a table cleanly, the pipe would NOT roll off cleanly. One end would get stuck, the other end would snake over the ledge, then it would tumble end over end. I'm a lifelong expert in the vindictive malice of unexpectedly chaotic systems.

The narration on this channel is great. It's confident but not arrogant, he pumps the brakes in all the right places, which earns my trust

@dirkbastardrelief

Honestly surprised that Justin Heim was real at all.

Has no-one considered that he was doing about 300mph and had a bird strike, but didn't want to get done for speeding? 😂😂

@oxcart4172
@

The guy is clearly incredibly stupid but, surely, even he wouldn't pre-plan this, take the pipe with him with the whole story in mind and then not think to even strike her with the pipe? To me it's much more likely that this was a spontaneous event and he had reversed into the ditch either to dump her there or to place her in the boot ready to move her elsewhere when he came upon the pipe and he decided to run with it.

@Edward234
@

This pipe was in my opinion carried by him everywhere. He is always tinkering and messing with cars. He's not a huge guy physically. This was being used as a 'cheater bar' used to help gain leverage when removing old car parts. You stick this pipe over the end of a wrench or rachet and gain a huge amount of leverage.

Hate to be the "gut feeling" guy, but for someone in a perfect relationship with no previous issues who lost his spouse in a freak accident, he just really doesnt seem all that torn up about the whole thing

@maccrowe4482
@

i fucking hate every word that slithers out of Todd’s mouth. the whole bit about picking up the truck with no pick-up time or address ?? does he think he’s talking to children?

@nohopefor2day
@

17:16 look at him. a lifeless stare, there isn’t an ounce of empathy or intellect behind those eyes

@nohopefor2day
@

Todd's wording at 36:40 is a red flag imo bc the phrase "getting after me" is negatively charged language when talking about his wife that died in a tragic accident.

@samiasmith4662
@

The Jerry Larry whatever guy looks like a nark on the prosecutors payroll.

@andrewmorales7342

I feel like he might've used the pipe to strangle her. For her to have so much damage to her neck, i think he put that pipe on her throat and put all his body weight on it. I mean Im no medical examiner, but it crossed my mind. Its terrifying to think what that woman went through, she fought like hell... against her own husband, together 28 years. How?! Why?! 💔

@ThrillinJillin
@

1:03:45 can confirm, VERY precedented

@tay-lore
@

The pipe acted like Kramer's spit.

@billiejoan86

Kendhammer has the gay face, was his history uncovered?

@chezmacle872
@

Got to be the worst story I’ve ever heard. Bro had no reasoning at all. Absolute nonsense.

@Sierato
@

Not exactly what terminal velocity is. Terminal velocity is the velocity at which an object that is falling no longer avcelerates because it equals the force of the medium it is falling through.

So the net force acting on it is zero. Force is mass x acceleration. And since the object is no longer accelerating force is zero.

I think that the detective may have been thinking of gravity in general. And how it pulls objects closer to the center of the large object that it resides on very quickly.

@Redrose03
@

Think it through people. Homicide detectives don't only do this for a living they live it. Like my work they run through the issues in their minds over and over and over 24/7 LITERALLY. It is addictive and virtually nothing else gets in. Do you really think that you are going to outsmart/outplay the entire cumulative investigation experience of planet earth on your very 1st murder?

Ive never seen somebody so visibly look so incredibly nervous before.. wow.

@Brianvanmoustache

Certainly doesnt act like the guilty people we've seen take the stand

I just asked my lady what movie she wanted to watch and she immediately said, Matt Orchard!

The AI summary for the comments says "owl pipe attack theories" cuz of all the owl jokes lol

@HuffdrewPaint
@

The pipe may actually have been involved, maybe he was outside the car beating the windshield with it menacing her.

@SpecialBlanket
@

all these stupid coulee roads... it really pisses me off when people give roads names that are too similar or confusing right next to eachother, it's just asking for emergency response problems

@SpecialBlanket
@

blahblah everyone acts differently when in shock or grieving but God at 40:55 he's so annoying especially with his leg and his whiny voice. such a bad actor

@nomorepikachu
@

This case is so frustrating because so many things make me desperately cling to the hope that this was all some horrible accident...but that feeling really just does not line up with the evidence. There's so much strangeness to it and really neither answer makes a ton of sense, but when most of the physical evidence points to murder- its very hard to rationalize. You did really well in covering this I think, very grounded in your approach while highlighting just how many things can't be known.

@mythomaniac-gremlin

At first I thought Todd was trans .

@Alma2525

That leg action is insane, it's wearing me out 😂

@Sarah24871
@

38:43 he—- he’s saying he removed her BY THE NECK LMAO

@OopsAllTism
@

my theory is that she was leaving him because of his voice

@tinycrimester
@

Holy sh*t …. his Singer Sewing machine leg is unreal. Nervous disorder or not; that leg alone did just as much harm as his lies in that room.

@JaneDoe-rj4jn
@

Omg I’ve watched the body cam footage and interrogations of this… Todd’s voice was unbearable to sit through.. nasally, whiny…. Nails on a chalkboard.
