skyline is like mcdonald's quality food, so its not uncommon for people to be upset that the "cincinnati chili" doesnt live up to their hype when eating it. There are higher quality alternatives, like Blue Ash chili.
Besides, the best thing at skyline is their cheese coneys, with the spicy cheese.
As much as I rag on about skyline's poor food quality, their cheese is excellent.

@matthias66northern ohioan here. a tip if you like seafood, easter time is when you will find a lot of great fish frys. in my experience catholic fish frys are very good & lake erie perch is best at those events.
also, be sure to visit the cleveland west side market. and if you like a big giant sammich, look for a melt bar & grilled.
The best state parks are hands down, East Harbor, Lake Hope, and Hueston Woods. Hocking Hills is soooooooo crowded, you won't see any wildlife there when it's nothing but a long single file line of people on the entirety of the trail.
@A-Rod09"The" is part of the university's name. Thus, The Ohio State University. Legend is that the error was made in drawing up the papers for the university. The error wasn't corrected before the presentation to the Ohio Assembly for voting.
I call it blue and maize out of respect for Michigan. I expect it returned from Michiganers.

@robynkilianek7822Idk about the rest of Ohio but in Toledo, no one cares if you like Michigan or ohio. You will see people wearing Michigan or Ohio shirts anywhere in Toledo.
@ToledoRailfanI'm from Cincinnati, and one thing I have a problem with is when people get angry that I twirl my spaghetti around my fork. Most people here don't do that, but my family is a proud Italian family, and we twirl it because it's mannerly. I have been yelled at by total strangers for twirling my noodles in Skyline, Gold Star, and other chili parlors. I'll eat it however I wish.

The Cleveland Zoo is one of the better ones I have seen thus far.
@robertevans3025Mitchellâs In Cleveland is also good! As much as I hated living in Ohio for 20 ish years, Cleveland and the surrounding areas are really wonderful! Try Sandusky bay pancake house also(best breakfast Iâve ever had) donât forget you can get to Detroit in about 3 hours!

@frenchfan3368Also: donât say Ohio is not part of the Midwest. This is a world-class way to upset the locals. If you say Ohio is not a Midwestern state, people will argue with you and they will call you an idiot who doesnât know their basic geography (Iâve experienced this first hand).
