Listen… I GET the criticism of this and I think it’s a part of a really stupid Hollywood trend BUT. This is fine. There isn’t a problem here. Why? BECAUSE IT’S ACTUALLY A GOOD MOVIE. The story is good, the characters are fun, and I think it’s pretty comparable the originals in overall quality. Plus, the originals were all men except Julia Roberts, so the flip here, while pointless, doesn’t feel like a ploy for diversity. This is a good movie, don’t judge it by the casting, give it a go.

As a continuation of the Ocean series this is a lot more interesting being an undemanding caper
It's very stagnant as far as its pacing but it has terrific chemistry with all of its players
It's still satisfying to see all the machinations of the plan come together from all angles
This is a very understated performance by Sandra Bullock
The cinematography makes the big apple setting look so pristine
Yeah there's naysayers out there who prefer the old crew with George Clooney and co.
But the movie made over $300 million worldwide to leave enough of a mark
The actresses play actual characters too plus there's that undercurrent of social bite saying why a woman is needed more than a man for this job to succeed
Did I mention so many fun celebrity cameos: Kim Kardashian, Common, Serena Williams, Heidi Klum, Jamie King, the Jenner sisters, Katie Holmes, Gigi Hadid, Hailey Baldwin, and Olivia Munn
This is fun, lighthearted, smart, witty, and entertaining for heist fans

My favorite movie ever

Ftr- I'm not a women hater. I just prefer they make original movies of main female cast. Like Bridesmaids, Wine Country, Hot Moms, This is 40- to name a few. These were greatly funny and not standard "chick flicks". Just way better as original concepts. IMO

I cannot be the only female on the planet that gets irritated by all these movies jumping on the band wagon-so to speak. No disrespect to great female actors chosen..I just prefer a different style of these types I guess? Meh

Imagine being so frustrated about the lack of women in leading roles only to rely on an already well established all man cast trilogy and still end up flopping. Then repeating this same approach a second time with the exact same parameters. Thank you ladies for proving everyone right, not once, but twice. - A fan of both the original Ghostbusters and Ocean's movies.
