This five-minute video showcases a handful of the 1,054 (official) United States nuclear tests that have taken place since 5:29 a.m. on July 16th, 1945. Much of the first half of this video is newly declassified material, recently released. The second half progresses toward lesser-known sequences, finishing off with footage that has been in the hands of the original videographer for decades. Many of these films were scratched, dusty, and exhibited significant color fading. Those have been restored to the best of my (admittedly novice) ability.
1:10 on Operation Ivy, are the clouds actually changing shape because of the blast, or is it just a trick of the light?

Something cool: If you pause the video at ~:26 and watch the first second or two of Tumbler-Snapper Able at 1/4 speed, you can actually see the air-dropped device falling before it detonates.

Many of the nuclear test shots in the first half of this video were sourced (pre-restoration) from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, whose complete playlist of atmospheric nuclear test footage is available online at https://tiny.cc/nukefilms (case sensitive).
When my great uncle worked on the nuclear weapons testing he took hundreds of photos. I have had a few enlarged and framed one od my favorites is buster jangles. I got it blown up (literally😂) to a 5 foot by 3 foot photo and framed behind glass. And I hung it in my TV room above the fireplace. And on the mantle I have small acrylic boxes of some of the trinitite he collected after the trinity test. I've got some huge pieces of it. One piece I've just mounted on an aluminium base with a led light in it and its housed behind glass and its green and yellow in color. Its almost completely glass in appearance. And with the light shining through it, the color is magnificent.

@Bill-w7r8fIn several of the nuclear tests made in the atmosphere at low altitudes at the Nevada Test Site, in all of which the energy yields were less than 100 kilotons, the glare in the sky, in the early hours of the dawn, was visible 400 (or more) miles away. This was not the result of direct (line-of-sight) transmission, but rather of scattering and diffraction, i.e., bending, of the light rays by particles of dust and possibly by moisture in the atmosphere. However, high-altitude bursts in the megaton range have been seen directly as far as 700 miles away.

(E=mc2 references the mass of the two electrons that combine with two protons to form two neutrons in a thermonuclear reaction and in the process lose their kinetic energy, travelling at the speed of light! KE=0.5mv2; and 4H + heat = He + A LOT OF HEAT !!)
