do u have to put atoms inside the orb or is it just space that has atoms in it. ie a metal orb with air inside surrounded by explosives.
More User Perspectives
what are the main components from the ash of this detonation, we have to protect against far downwind? How much iodine? How much cesium? How much strontium? protection for insects, (bees), mammals, (cows), garden uptake, (tomatoes, corn, pototoes)?
@paublusamericanus292I average person like me found this interesting and entertaining.
@emperor00200221:00 Anyone have any idea what these "simpler" approaches might be he is referring too? (Asking for Iran)
@tomcass240M'kay?
@BavonWWHe misspoke when he said the nuclear power plant would need half the amount once a year.
@megadeth1763I'm not worried about coz i done got my wife to call in for me 😨
@megadeth1763hey kids its the boogey man
@thomasmartin9596Thanks profe. I like how easy you made me understand. Profe stay calm I won't make bombs :-). I'll make a new material none nuclear explosive much said a very steady material I just want to be able to flow out and absorb the energy from this type of reaction. I'll keep watching your videos please keep us learning.
@isaaculloaportillo2112If anything it should make you feel safer. it would be extremely hard for terrorists to build one.
@zxwmabcdef5439I wonder which watchlist I just got put on by watching this.
@funcuzchris4466How much radiation is left in depleted uranium cannon shells?
@doctim11121:01 what are they?!?! Now im curious... Very much so
@jhyland87Makes me wish i went to college... Great talk. Very interesting!
@jhyland87how does this proff actually knows unless he tries, half of it could be fake or misleading
@yoski203this shit's way.. above my head!!! LOL
I know the basics!!! but, the science is baffling to me..!!! shit in the 80s there was a fifteen-year-old kid that built a nuclear core as a science project..!!!
all invention stop after 9/11 nobody ever invented anything actually useful besides making you stupid w smartphones
Why am I mesmerized by this deadly apocalyptic subject?
@iguanapete3809my father was at Castle Bravo in 1954.
@michaelmooney3369and don't forget to watch the 1963 movie "Dr Strangelove, or ..." Still a great and important story.
@rapauliFantastic very interesting. This speaker is well worth the effort to listen to. And is so close to perfect as far as keeping every sentence riveting
If he can just drop the habit of saying O.K , OK , OK , It's to many oks .
He is so interesting I had to persevere, but please play it back and note how often you say ok.
Then note how the flow sounds so more interesting when you use far less ok.
This is in no way intended to offend, you are well worth the time.
In fact I will both like and share.
Keep it up you are great , in fact so riveting and interesting , you don't need the ok , ok.
Thank you I found your technical explanation perfect
OK.
Warm regards Grant
This science made 1sec an eternity of time
@oceanhome2023This is the guy I want in my fallout shelter
@oceanhome2023Why is this information on the internet?
@rcsontagI’m probably already on an NSA watch list. Or, in this case the FBI, DIA, AND AEA.
@MatthewBaileyBeAfraidWhy is the CIA following me
@joshuajayden77my laptop camera is on wtf who spying on me.
@infoKE-i8xWANG THAT NAIL!
@etotheroc43Interestingly you can enrich uranium using photo activated uranium salt decomposition. You’ll have to guess the salts that this would work with.
This approach relies on the minute differences in the chemical properties of 238 and 235. It only needs recrystallisation equipment.
It’s not an economically viable method though.
Very informative.
Thank you
Are you really saying the guy who teachs about bombs is called Bunn? It took a while, but when I noticed it went Boom.
@mustavogaia2655Sending this to my friend in North Korea
@rebuiltfulLove it when he said "people" instead of scientists.
Makes us feel like we belong to the same human beings.
I get to listen to a lecture from one of the most prestigious universities in the world for free, and I can pause and rewind it at my whim. Think about that for a second...!
@quickminutetv4170They blow up
@michaelk9056Where can we download the blueprints for 3D printing?
@rewtnodeSo well done. Thanks for explaining things like we are not physics majors. I really hope people understand the need for the elimination of these weapons by the two superpowers who have about 10,000 nukes each and are ready to launch in 15 minutes at one man’s say so. No nukes!!!✌️☮️☢️
@moonjude1I'll make one right now!
........ Just kidding...
How many people reading this have witnessed a Nuclear Bomb - Answer NONE.
@artoheino7315Kim jong un would be the one to sell it to a terrorist group
@TheMantisMan69Wrong image for trinity test 2:21
@ys6630If we could get to Pluto... We can get all the plutonium we'll ever need !!!💥💫🌐
@michaelbeever6209I bet he's fun at party's
@tombedford9924He leaves the fun stuff out but a nice rendition of basics of old nuclear weapons design
@justinrose8809Has anybody devised a gun/implosion hybrid device, fire a sub critical sphere and plug into a closed hemisphere end barrel that would form it into a supercritical mass.
@adamrosasAnyone can tell me something about what he isn't telling at 21:00 ?
@birdgincritBiggest HOAX of all time, there are NO nuclear bombs, all the atoms in a piece of uranium or plutonium would have to "fissle" at the same time to make an explosion, impossible. Do the math yourself !
@williamhird4770Lol haha
@brianweiss1403Shouldn't have taught me this
@brianweiss1403
