The NFL literally encouraged Brandon Sorsby to enter the 2027 NFL draft in their letter, rejecting his request for the 2026 supplemental draft.
So this settlement is an agreement for the NFL to allow Brandon Sorsby to do the thing that they encouraged him to do, in exchange for Brandon Sorsby not filing a frivolous lawsuit.
This is only being called a settlement so that Brandon Sorsby’s lawyer can continue to build him for it.
The negotiation was basically:
“we won’t file our frivolous lawsuit as long as you allow my client to do the thing that you encouraged my client to do.”

@danieljohns1859This is not a settlement. The original no said he could apply for the draft. These entertainment people are stupid. The temp injunction isn't a win, it actually happens a lot... The NFL would of won if sued. This Tom guy is kinda dumb.
