I recently received my Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite card! Your YouTube channel provides the most detailed explanations about the BoA PRE card. I especially appreciate your comparison of airline ticket prices—truly valuable content.
I'm currently trying to enroll my partner as a Priority Pass member. During the enrollment process, I entered her name on the personal details page, filled in the new Priority Pass account information, and then proceeded to the billing details section. I noticed my card number was pre-filled by default, so I entered my name as the cardholder and completed the process.
While I believe I set up my partner's account correctly, I've noticed something concerning. When checking the mobile app under Profile → View Account and Billing Details, the "Card associated to your visit" shows my partner's name instead of mine, though the card number is correct (mine). I'm confused about this discrepancy—shouldn't the cardholder name display my name? Do you know if this will cause any issues with the membership (the name on e-membership card is my partner's name)?

I’m a Platinum Honors customer who still can’t get my mind around a $550 annual fee😵💫. I do give BofA credit for still wooing☺️me though😂.
The Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite credit card is quite unique.
The rewards structure isn’t great on its own, earning 2X on Travel and Dining and 1.5X on Other Purchases. While these multipliers can be increased if you’re also in the Bank of America Preferred Rewards program, the balance requirements for that program are quite high for most people, especially since you’ll need to be at the Platinum Tier or higher for the gains to be worthwhile.
Why are there no credit card YouTubers talking about this card more often. Honestly. The visa infinite benefits alone wants me to apply for it. The value that one gets out of it is massive
However, the more I dug into the details of this card, the more I realized how powerful it can be for the benefits (especially airport lounge access via a Priority Pass membership).
This is important because recently, cards like the Amex Platinum Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Capital One Venture X, and others have had their Priority Pass membership access cut, meaning they no longer allow access to Priority Pass restaurants or the spa / other retail locations (i.e., they’re ‘lounge only’ cards).
What happened if I already have Pirority Pass through Amex. Is it possible to have it another one with BoA Elite rewards? Do I need to disconnect my Amex in order to receive the BoA benefits?
However, the Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite STILL gives you access to ALL of Priority Pass as of the filming of this video. Plus, you can issue a total of 4 memberships WITHOUT needing to adding additional people as authorized users on your credit card account (I’m not aware of any other premium travel credit card that allows for this).

As of right now BOA credit is one of the best out there. I say this because I put a lot of the other cards beside BOA and they don’t come close in benefits. Look at American Express Reserve card. They give you Ride Share credit but 10 dollars a month like you are a child . American Express lounge you will be paying for your children. Just put these two cards side by side and you will see a big difference.

Someone probably noted this already, but there is a HUGE downside to having Bank of America checking or savings accounts. What is that? Well if you have foolishly left say $100,000 in one of their savings accounts, you're going to earn $10 a year or so in interest. Meanwhile BofA is conservatively earning $5000 dollars on your money. No wonder they can double the value of your points... You've already paid them dearly!
And as a reminder... Bank of America and Wells Fargo have been fined 100s of MILLIONS of dollars for their sh*tty customer hostile practices. No matter how "good" the card appears to be, in fact you're going to lose money... Google "fake accounts and Bank of America"
In short if you have a savings account with ANY major bank, I strongly suggest you rethink that. Case in point, we left Chase recently. In ONE MONTH we earned more interest than we did in 5 YEARS in a Chase Savings account. Straining at earning points and perks pales in comparison to the fact that just by earning more interest you could pay for ALL those perks without any annual fee or excessive interest!

@SwanFJQThe points/rewards benefits on this card are weak compared to most other premium cards with similar annual fees. The Priority Pass benefit by itself is not enough for the high cost of the card IMO.
