Who was the genius that allowed Iran to link Hezbollah in Lebanon to the negotiations to end the war with Iran? That move was extremely counter-productive to ending the Lebanese conflict between Hezbollah and Israel. It almost seems like a genius move by Iran to ensure the fighting continues so they have an escape excuse from the negotiations.



The Lebanese government has already declared the Iranian ambassador "persona-non-grata" and asked him to leave Lebanon, but Iran has refused. This is contrary to international norms and should not be allowed to stand. Iran should withdraw their ambassador and stop interfering in Lebanese affairs. Then maybe Lebanon could exert its sovereignty by removing Hezbollah elements from the Lebanese army and end the internal conflict that keeps pulling Israel back into the fight.
